Only the Chiefs and Broncos want McClain.. are you kidding me? McClain is a one of a kind player, everyone wants him. The Dolphins would definitely take him. I'm sure the Steelers would too if he fell that far. Every NFL team probably has an interest in the kid.

Oh, I should clarify a bit. The only teams I see wanting him in the first top 10 (as it stands right now) are the Chiefs and Broncos. Of course more teams want him, but given the pressing needs the teams that have the first 10 picks have, I only see two wanting him.

Haha, that makes more sense. I agree with you now.

Do you watch Florida's games? I watched every single one this year and he is always putting pressure on the QB. He doesn't disappear for long stretches during games at all.

Did you see the Arkansas Florida game? Dunlap went into MIA for most of the game from the second quarter until he made one play in the fourth quarter. For most of that game,it was Cunningham putting all pressure on Mallet.

Oh no, it's not being pessimistic. I do think the Patriots have a shot to get McClain. The only teams I see that want McClain are the Chiefs and Broncos. The Browns may go for Eric Berry. The Chiefs are going to want to an O-lineman to help that pressing issue and may want a Safety. The Broncos as well may want McClain but I also believe they want a FS because of Dawkins age and may go for Taylor Mays.

The Patriots could trade with Buffalo or Seattle because I really don't see why they would want to keep those picks if the top prospects are taken given their issues. Like someone else posted, they could given them the 1st, one of the 2nd round (Pats have 3 picks there) and a one of the 2 5th round picks with Buffalo or Seattle or maybe even San Francisco.

It's not a long shot, but it will be pricey.

I really wish I could agree with you, but I can't. Brian Dawkins seems to be holding up pretty well. Denver needs another corner to pair with Champ Bailey, (maybe Joe Haden), they need an inside linebacker to replace Andra Davis,(maybe McClain), and they might need a wide receiver if Brandon Marshall can't be retained, (maybe Dez Bryant).

If the season ended today, they'll probably have the 9th pick. However, they have Chicago's pick. Most likely Chicago is going to lose to Minnesota. That means their pick could be even higher. Barring some kind of injury, I don't see how they can walk away from McClain.

If McClain goes to Denver, Haden will definitely go by 15, (barring injury). The same should be true for Dez Bryant.

Check the first eight picks:

# St. Louis (1-13) DL/QB
# Detroit (2-12) DL/ OL
# Tampa Bay (2-12) DL
# Cleveland (3-11) DL/QB
# Kansas City (3-11) OL
# Washington (4-10) OL
# Buffalo (5-9) OL
# Seattle (5-9) OL/QB

They all need help in the trenches or at QB. The surprising thing is that I don't see one of the tweener pass rushers going that high. It's possible that St. Louis, Cleveland, and Seattle could all pick QB's.

If that happens, then Detroit and Tampa could definitely pick up the premier defensive tackles. This would leave Kansas City, Washington, and Buffalo to have their pick of offensive linemen.

It may not be possible, but the pass rushers in this class could slide a little. I'm not saying that we could have only one or two selected in the first round, but there could be a bunch of quality players available in the 20's.

Buffalo doesn't need help on their O-line. You are ignoring the fact that they just added Eric Wood and Andy Levitre in this past draft. They also signed that guy Hangartner who played well enough that they felt comfortable putting Wood at Guard. You are also ignoring that Buffalo lost 3 starters to injury this season.. Injuries can't be predicted. You can only hope your back-ups will be able to step in.

Cleveland doesn't need a QB. They need a coach who is willing to commit to ONE. They do need D-line, but I think they'll look to grab Mt. Cody in the top of the 2nd round.

Washington is going to be interesting, especially if Shanahan does go there. Whether or not they'll go for O-line in the draft or in Free agency will be determined. They'll be looking to replace Chris Samuels.

As for Tampa - 5 of 9 of their DL have 3 years or less experience. However, their vets are still getting most of the snaps.. Personally, its a HC issue down there as Morris was clearly in over his head..

Buffalo has worries at OT, not just starting, their depth stinks.

Buffalo gave up three sacks to the same player a week ago. They knew where the pressure was coming from and they couldn't stop it. More importantly, they upgraded the interior of their line and their right tackle position, but they still need a true left tackle. Plus, they need depth.

Cleveland does need a new QB. There's a saying that when you have two starting Qb's, you really have none. Neither QB sees to be showing much potential. If there was any, it's probably gone now. Their atrocious offense killed it. Mike Holmgreen is most likely going to want his guy there. I think that could mean his guy at QB. They could go d-line, but if they find a QB that they like, they might grab him.

Washington's struggles have been centered on the O-line. All those three and outs have kept their defense on the field for long stretches. They get tired, and then they get injured. They need help.

Even though Morris isn't the answer, they do need some help in the personnel department. They need a guy that can stop the run and create pressure up the middle: that sounds like they a DT.

If Cleveland decides to draft Clausen or Bradford (Jake Locker is going back for his senior year), that leaves no QBs for Washington and no one of interest for them. Washington will not draft an O-lineman with their pick and only will if the Chiefs do not take Okung with their pick. They may want to trade down to get out of that spot. If the Patriots offer what I and others have said (1st, 1 of the 3 in the 2nd, 1 of the 2 in the 5th), Washington may consider it.

Many assume that the Bills and Redskins will draft an O-lineman but I don't see it. There is only one probably worth a top 10 draft pick and that's Okung and the rest you can get in the 20s-30s and 2nd Round.

I also do not see the Browns drafting another QB with that pick. They may look for a QB in the 2nd-5th rounds where someone will fall in love with Colt McCoy or Pat Devlin or draft Jonathan Crompton (had a pretty good Senior year) or Dan LeFevour (another great season out of him).

Which brings us back to KC and Denver. Will either one overdraft McClain? What if Eric Berry or Taylor Mays falls to Denver at #8 or #9 or where ever they draft? Will that change their mind about drafting McClain?

KC seems like a perfect destination for McClain. Pioli overdrafted Jackson last year, will he overdraft again this year? Albert is miserable at tackle, maybe KC would be better off fixing that problem first.

What part of having 3 starters on the IR didn't you understand? As for the LT position, the Bills love Demetrius Bell there. They also have Jonathan Scott as their back-up..As for RT, they have G/T Brad Butler for depth and he isn't shappy... I disagree that they need depth.

I see Holmgren bringing in a new coach and that coach going with Quinn. They have other issues than QB that are plaguing them.

Nothing you mentioned contradicts what I said...They are going to be looking for a LT to replace Samuels so that they can move Jones back to RT. They do need a younger center who they can develop to replace Rabach and they could need a guard.

That could be. But Morris is the bigger issue. His schemes for the defense aren't effective. That's one of the reasons I believe he'll be gone. Will Tampa look at another DT? Probably. In the first round? Sure, If Suh falls to them. Otherwise, I don't see them going that way. I see them trading down because I don't believe Odrick is a top 10 player. Though, if they fall in love with him, they might reach a bit.
