PATS = PAST. It started with BB and TB and it is going to end that way with BB and TB.

Where is the genius ????????

Hardworking and balalalakakkaakkakakakakaka is all BS TALK from BB and TB and they finally got caught with their pant down.

Maybe he's a little beat up right now...he took some serious hits, but I do hope that with the few weeks left we will see him return to form. I know its the optimist in me, but I can see him doing well in the palyoffs. I dont think his passion is the problem.

Brady looks disinterested. The yelling in week 2 isn't there. The fire and passion after TDs aint there. Not sure what's up, but yeah, his life has changed. His wife is worth over 300 million bucks, he's probably worth 100 mil and may be getting another 100 mil contract soon. So yeah football to him could be just a thing he does on the side.

It was a great ride. Look on the positive side. 3 SBs in 4 yrs was awesome. Those 3 SBs were games that could have gone either way, the defense almost blew those games too. Just enjoy whatever ride this team has left, and don't let the game get to you.

The sad part is, you may be 100 % right. Brady has no fire and BB has no answers. I'm very tempted to say something but i"m not going to.

too many times we are going for the homerun or knockout instead of playing fundamental football. We don't have the homerun hitter that also hits for average. Too many strikeouts.....

O stop panicing, people forget so quickly what brady and bb have done. You cant always win, get over it. As far as the final drive, he made an AMAZING throw that should have been caught by aiken. If it was, we won the game. Brady threw the pick because he knew a sack would have ended the game as well, he had to get rid of the ball. If you think anyone in the league gives us a better chance to win a super bowl then Brady over the next five years, well, your just crazy. Its funny how people are so willing to kick "what they love" as soon as things go a little wrong.

In Brady I Trust

Word. I understand the apprehensions and the worrying, but to say this guy has lost his fire and he's all about his fame? Please. Get out of here with that argument. You can say he's struggling, but his passion is still there. No one is going to be more dissapointed with Tom Brady tonight than Tom Brady. That look at the end of the game, I didn't see smiles. I still think they can turn this ship around, but it'll be interesting to see where we go from here.

The shine is off brady. Pats have lost their mystique. Unknown if the can get it back. playcalling is $hite. Don't seem to have the horses on defense.

I think the biggeset problem that Brady has that there isn't anybody to correct mistakes. I think Brady was clutch when Weiss was in his face for making mistakes and constantly cursing the offence for not executing the game plan.

Patriots current OC (Bill O'Brian) appears as if he is learning the offence from Brady and BB. The guy was WR coach for one year, it is big jump to OC.

You can't really pin the last drive on Brady... he knows that he cannot take a sack there, period. He tried to get it off, and a defender happened to be there. He MADE the clutch throw he needed to, but Aiken couldn't come down with the tough catch despite getting both hands on it. I put the last drive on play-calling... despite no timeouts, there was still enough time to work the screen game and get to the 35-40 to give Ghost a shot. But the playcallers just panicked, pure and simple...

He made a very poor throw on the Moss end zone INT, and missed Aiken down the sideline by a hair, but I really have trouble putting this one on #12.

Re: Where is mr Clutch????

I hate to call Brady out, but he has been made to be a hero for so many great decisions.. Has Randy Moss hurt his carrer than help him?? 2 weeks in a row to many forced balls.. I dont want to hear we are still in first place.. We have lost 5 games on the road... we will not get a bye now... Buffalo could beat us up there.. ,this is not a playoff team... and its time to question Belichick. Does he miss Pioli??? Does he miss Charlie weis??? I know Brady misses some one...

My thread got sent to the practice squad, someone agrees with me! Moss drags to much attention from Brady

Wow, in reading all these posts it really is clear how superior my intelligence is to the general population.

'Scuse me, I inadvertently clicked into a moron ***********.

FWIW Moss only beats coverage these days when he splits defenders. Because he can still run fast and snooker some youngsters with his rope a dope and he can make the occasional one handed grab and catch most anything when he's wide open... What he can't do is execute double moves or fight through coverage or for the ball in tight coverage.

The second pick was thrown from a scrum when Brady couldn't take a sack. I lost count of how many times he got hit hard today. Bet you all **** a brick when he went to the locker room though. It would help if his receivers could get seperation sooner or his OL could keep the DL out of his chest area even as they do. He was 18 of 19 including a throw away in the first half. I bet he hit the dirt hard that many times as well... Yet his HC chose to punt on 4th and inches only to go for it on 4th and 6 in chipshot FG range. I knew then they were going to regret that.

Thing is once defenses adjust we have no answer bonefide counter. Maybe because we have no legit 3rd WR. Aiken will make a play every now and then. He did today. JAGS do that periodically. They seldom do it consistently and they also find ways to cost you. That's why they're JAGS.

The defense made it easy, doing what the fans wanted and getting burned early then reverting into their shell and getting burned periodically. They got it together for a time in the 3rd quarter, but the damage was already done. A FG made and a FG opportunity just pissed away because it wasn't enough... Bill didn't used to think like this. He knew better than to thumb his nose at what defenses are giving you - especially on the road in division games.

It is what it is, but Brady isn't the problem. He's the least of it. Moss simply isn't worth $9M which when added to the money wasted annually for the last two years on guys like Galloway and Stallworth to play opposite him and draw coverage not to mention injury prone aging RB's to try to recreate the ghost of one and done Dillon would cover the cost of a couple of bonefide 1b wideouts with a couple of bucks left over for the OL. But they will keep forcing it to Moss because of what he once was...and because they extended him in the face of a blueprint to stop him. I hope they don't end Brady's career in the process.

It's really an overall philosophical disconnect on Belichick's part and it all started when Al Davis made him a deal he just couldn't refuse. I know he and Tom admire Moss' talent. Unfortunately that isn't what wins superbowls more often than not. Trying to make it so in the face of mounting evidence to the contrary is what results in that look you see on their faces lately. A cross between seething frustration on Brady's part and stunned befuddlement on the bosses. We are intent on dictating on offense when we lack sufficient talent or execution to across the board. Been this way since late 2007. We're afraid to dictate on defense any longer because we still keep coming up a half step short and getting burned, only now due in part to inexperience. You can't win consistently in this league when you are deficient in both talent and execution on both sides of the ball (not to mention ST where Welker is the lone bright spot) because your margin is just too fine. We aren't opportunistic any more because we're so tightly wound and caught up in getting all the i's dotted and t's crossed for a shot at proving a perfect matchup rules we misfire or screw up on half of those. We've lost the ability to get in rhythm and just make plays on both sides of the ball.

We're overthinking everything.

All I have to say is MAN UP, Patriot fans. There is a lot of blame to go around, but you guys who are calling Brady too hollywood and thinking about his modeling career really are too much to take. What Brady needs is a running game to support him. When the Patriots had Antoine Smith and Corey Dillon, our offense was very good. Without a power running back, the Pats just can't run out the clock. Most teams know that Brady is going to be putting it up more than we run and the offense has become too predictable. Brady still has the desire and fire, but we need better protection and a better running game.

While I agree and also miss the Power Running game we used to have, the RGame we have right now should be sufficient IMO.
Back then we used to throw ALOT of screens, Tom would take ONE step back and fire the ball left or right, 3 step drops were frequent as well....
Now when it is clear as the day is long that a well executed screen play will get us the 1st and drain more time, we attempt the 40 yd bomb to try and seal it.....trying to seal the deal with 1 play instead of taking what the D is giving and FORCING them to play a perfect game is not the way I remember them being dominant and winning Super Bowls.

I admit that except for the SB, 2007 was very fun to watch for us Pats Fans, but I think it was an aberration, the Pats sure did pretty well with the Dink and Dunk with the occasional big play before they decided that the only way to score was the big play.
