It's easy, and only takes a few moments. Now everyone knows what its like to be a Colts, Steeler, Eagles, Saints, and Vikings fan. You don't go to the SB or deep into the playoffs every year. Most times your not even considered SB matterial like the Pats have for all these years.
Belichick puts this team in Super Bowl contention virtually every year
Yeah and I want the first 30-odd back before Belichick showed up. If you whine about being in contention every year for a decade, God knows how you're gonna cope with the next McPhereson or Carroll era.
Fan up dude.
Very disappointed, the window of opportunity to get Brady 5 rings in closing fast. All the talk about 'value' and organizational depth doesn't mean a thing, Superbowls are what counts.
The Patriots are not one of the big dogs this year, another run of the mill slightly better than average season. Lets hope for a playoff miracle.
And as Brady getting older each year, you can see from the far horizon that the Patriots are on the descending.
This is exactly why the Patriots don't think in terms of "windows."
Every single game that Brady (or Wilfork or . . .) could be his last. Operating on the "Win now" mentality is an easy ticket to blowing up a franchise a couple of years down the road.
I'd rather the Patriots be contenders every year and win once every few years or so than see them adopt a "win now" mentality and then have to pay the piper and turn into the JEST.
The other argument is when you have studs like Brady and Moss why not maximize your chances to win SB's while you are lucky enough to have them? Once they are gone you might not see another duo like them ever again! This is exactly why the Patriots don't think in terms of "windows."

Exactly. What has this team done in the past five years? Meltdown to the Colts in the AFC Championship game? Choke in the super bowl? Lose the East to Miami last year? Get beat down by an inferior Jets team who smacked them in the mouth? Choke to the Broncos? Meltdown to the Colts again? Get destroyed by the Saints? They've lost all of their games to major competitor's this year (with the exception of the Jets). What happened to the past five years of draft picks? Chad Jackson, anyone?
Point is, these are not your mother's Patriots anymore. It hasn't been two or even three years since they have last done something substantial. It's been five. They are no longer a measuring stick for the rest of the league. Patriot's fans will blast me for this - and I've been a fan for a long long time. I've never openly been this down on the Pats this decade but sometimes you need to call a spade a spade. All of the people who are waiting for the 2001, 2003, and the 2004 Patriots to come walking through that door are going to be severely disappointed. We have been waiting for this team to "turn the corner" all year...We've been waiting for them to show signs of 2007 and years past - and we're not seeing it. Their not winning gritty, tough, hard fought games. Their not beating teams that they traditionally beat...esp. being the underdogs last night. I'm sorry - but when Drew Brees & the Saints average 20 yards a throw and you allow the Colts to come back by 17 in a quarter, something is wrong.
I hope they prove me wrong...but based on the past five years, I have no reason to think otherwise.
Let's look back to when it all started to decline for the Pats.....Maybe they need the videos cameras back...aint done jack after...does make you kinda wonder......just sayin'
Just saying after the league got involved..........not much, heck look, even the Colts got there once without cameras...so maybe the Pats did too
Troll. Unintelligent one at that...just keep repeating what you hear on TV and you'll be accepted and loved, right?
So what you are saying is..the Pats didn't use cameras to video opposing teams? That the media is just telling the general public that? And it is just some kind of anti-Pats/Kraft theory?
