Official Pats/Dolphins Post Game Discussion

I thought this game was our most exciting to date.

Everytime Miami are on offense its hard to guess what is coming on the next play. Even though we gave up big enough yardage I think our D did a good job. We shut down Ronnie Brown which is the difference between winning and losing against the Dolphins imo.

I was very anxious....

I really really HATE the WILDCAT

Me too. What (another) waste of money.

That's easy:

1. He is a decent starter quality S, signed for reasonable money. He may be our #4 S right now, but he was probably our most consistent DB last year.

2. He's a hard worker and consistent, and you know what you are going to get out of him given his limitations. BB likes him.

3. We had no idea McGowan would become what he has become.

4. Positional depth is never bad. If (God forbid) one of Meriweather/McGowan/Chung gets hurt, we'll still be in decent shape with the other guys + Sanders.

5. The cost was not prohibitive.

Wow, hindsight sure is 20/20, eh? If it makes you feel better, pretend that McGowan is getting Sanders' salary and Sanders is getting McGowan's.

:agree: This was a riveting game! I had company but planned on popping onto the board but between company and the way that game was going I just didn't get here :(

Shut down Ronnie Brown, shut UP Joey Who, plus Brady had some outstanding drives. LoMo really showed some toughness and drive, I love what he's showing us this year.

But for me, AD was the most encouraging; he made some great heads-up plays and he ran that later-no-good TD in like the beast we signed. Nobody knew the TD was in question, Miami's D looked fully engaged in the chase.

It reminded me of the later-no-good Tebucky Jones' TD. Even though those TD's didn't count they truly spark EVERYBODY up, fans and team.

If AD can keep this up it'll be HUGE for us. Great game- the Pats are ready for Indy:rocker:

Im sorry if this has been mentioned but did anyone catch the Miami Herald whining about the scoreboard guy focusing the stadium cameras on Joey Porter in the final moments and making note of this stats for the day?

"it showed zero class because it needlessly ridiculed an already-beaten opponent."

Miami Dolphins' defense blows game plan, and Brady strikes again - Miami Dolphins - MiamiHerald.com

Sorry already mentioned in the Porter thread.....love the reader comments at the bottom of the story.
