Re: OT: Colts injuries (Sanders, Jackson, Gonzalez, Hagler) - MERGED UMBRELLA THREAD

That is disgusting, Sorry for our fanbase. There is nothing good about anyone getting hurt, especially and injury that could challenge their carrer.

Eh, Steelers fanbase was the worst. One of them made a Bernard Pollard Fan Club T-Shirt (that I bet he wishes to this day that he didn't make considering the amount of hatemail he must still get from this forum alone).

Amen to that. I never like hearing about an injury to any player, regardless of who they play for.

This is so pointless it's ridiculous. What's the point of a pissing contest over a week before the game? When the Patriots are done pwning the Colts, then I'll just say "see, I told you". Until then, there's really no point in saying anything, since we've already gone over each of these 'talking points' about 100 times.

That is why I feel many Bostonians on here have not been exposed to this intense hatred like it has been shun upon My Pats in NY--- while going to school.

I am in NJ and I can understand the hatred for the Pats there, the whole NY Boston thing.

Isn't that one of the main purposes of a message board?

I bet I can piss further than you

I hope today showed everyone our defence can hang with the best.. even without starters. texans ranked #1 offence? colts held them to 17 points ;) seems like a win to me

As I said before, it has been your pass rush that has worried me and not your secondary. The losses of Jackson and Sanders (who didn't play much anyway) along with Hayden still don't take any fear out of my heart from the Colts. Can't wait for the game this week.

Going into today, the Texans were the 8th ranked offense. Based on points scored per game, they were 14th.

The Pats were the 3rd ranked offense and 5th in points per game. Both are higher than either the Texans or the Colts. The Pats are the best offense the Colts have faced this year by a lot.

Please explain how the Texans have the number one raned offense when the Pats get more yards and points than the Texans do.

Too bad that hasn't happened in 17 games.

**REGULAR SEASON

It's technically been 8 games. Streaks are real cool. When they end with a Lombardi.

With posts from guys like Tuxicon and other Colts fans who are posting here this week and last week, I have to wonder why the Patriots are even going to bother to show up in Indy against the mighty Colts. Might as well just forfeit this one and start getting ready for the Jets, a team which we have a snowball's chance in hell of beating.

they haven't faced a QB like Brady this season and WR set like Welker and Moss. They somehow think were as inept as the Texans. I think the colts will for sure put up at least 20 points. The question is, Can we match? I think we can - other teams have successfully played against that defense. We are one of the top offenses in the league to date. IF Brady can execute along with Welker and Moss, we can win. If this is going to be another Denver game were the offense is not on the same page, it will be a long day.

Dude, you just left yourself wide open with that one.

Not at all.

16-0 was cool for all the records they set. Regardless, the streak isn't validated as a perfect ANYTHING without the Lombardi, imho.

I agree with the rest of your post, however, Colts have the #1 scoring defense in the league.

They've allowed the least points per game.

They have played a weak schedule, relatively, but I'm just pointing out, this isn't the Colts defense of old where it's bend and alot of times break.

Pats can put up points against them, if they are clicking though, but the Colts defense is very solid this year to say the least.

This thread is funny, the lack of Colts' knowledge in there. You would think Marlin Jackson was a probowler the way that people talked. But he was never a good cover guy, and wasn't as good of a fit in the new scheme bc of it. Powers has already made more plays in man coverage in half a season than Jackson did in his career here. Powers is a good player.

Hayden, unlike Jackson, actually could cover. But he's basically been hurt for a full year now, always missing games.

Same for Bob, hasn't been himself for two years. Time for him to go. Bullitt is obviously a starting caliber safety in his place.

Gonzo is a loss. He is clearly the 2nd best WR on our team. Garcon and Collie are nothing special.

Hagler is a loss as well. He is playing well, and Wheeler is unproven. At least he only played in base situations though.
