Think I'll keep my post short on this issue as this bench is looking pretty darn good through five games. I'm interested to see how this manifests itself over the course of the season. My hope is that the minutes of the starters are managed well, injuries are kept to a minimum and the defensive intensity remains all year long.

5 games in and I'm rather impressed.

If you told me that Allen and Pierce combined for 8 points, I would have assumed that we lost by 31 - not the other way around. Glad to see the bench fully in the mix and minutes being limited in certain games to keep the Big 3 fresh.

If they can stay healthy... and thats a BIG if with an older team like this... I say we cruise to another championship. They have looked spectacular so far. this may end up being one of the great all time celtics teams. im calling it now.

I'm impressed with Williams so far. I didn't expect him to be playing this many minutes so early for the team and he has done everything you could expect of him. He's filling in for Davis very nicely so far. I thought the guy was going to be a complete non factor when Ainge signed him.
