OT: Bills/Jets Game

Is today your birthday too, or was it yesterday? Either way, this is the best damn b-day present ive received in a long time lol. First watch the Pats flat out dominate, and then change the channel to watch the Jets lost to a very poorly played and coached football team. Absolutely magical.

Another thing that I found to be a positive today, would be the picks by two rookies, Butler and Chung along with the monster play at LT by Vollmer. Very positive signs.

Just to throw something else in there. When this team plays aggressive Defense, our secondary really shines. I hope we can keep that level of play up with teams like the Colts and the Saints in the future.

My birthday was yesterday. This is an awesome way to end my birthday weekend. :D I agree with your evaluation of the rooks too. They impressed me today. Now I want to see some consistency. I hope that this is the beginning of a good run of football for our team.

Agree with everything you said. And, Happy belated b-day.

that was just awesome. i so enjoyed rex ryan and his five chins and the look of utter disappointment when that fg sailed thru the uprights lmao just priceless. don't be sad jets fans you already won your sb remember? lol

when the jets were in his own 4 in the OT, I was thinkin bout the oportunity of a winning safety with a intentional grounding of Mark Sanchez

This will be the real test of Ryan. I always thought his coaching style would come back to hurt the Jets especially if the Jets face adversity. Well, it is here. They have three straight losses (two in division against teams with one win each going into the game). They may have lost Jenkins for a while. The NY press is going to be brutal to them. Sanchez has proven to be very much a rookie and a turnover machine turning it over 5 times today and 4 times two weeks ago against the Saints. They have to head across the country to play in Oakland (who just got their first win against a good Eagles) after two emotional and grueling division losses. I think a loss to Oakland could send this team over the edge.

It is gut check time for the Jets and I don't think they have the leadership to overcome it. They shouldn't have put so much emphasis to beat the Pats and seem to have come crashing down to earth since.

Strategically, this was a very devastating loss for the Jests.

1) People have cataloged the Jest Defenses and developed counters t their blitzes.
2) Sanchez is now behaving like a rookie QB and throwing INTs by the bucket full.
3) Kris Jenkins is gone with a knee for a while and their run Defense has gone with him.
4) Woody has gone down with a knee injury and their Offensive line has collapsed.
5) The Jest have mad big bets on loading up with front line starters and making little provision for injuries and depth. You can't continually trade your drafts for one or two picks and not hurt. It isn't even half way through the season and their lack of depth is obvious.

LOL, the 'bench Sanchez' threads have already started in the NYJ forums. Classic stuff! Their own fans are jumping at each others throats!

That Jets board is absolutely fantastic!! I highly recommend it to everyone who needs or wants a good laugh.

what is site? address????? help me out

I'm am so stoked about the Jets loss. Watching the last 5 minutes of that game was a horror movie. I can't believe Evans' catch was overruled though in OT. This officiating better shape up quick--not that i have much hope. How was that CONCLUSIVE evidence that wasn't a catch?

Doesn't matter anyway, but that was the exact same catch as Gaffney's against BALT in 2007

yeah you not kidding. That site is a mess. All the personal threats towards each other, and just amazing how there is no mods to stop some of it.

Reading that message forum just made me warm inside.

I hate to say this, but this board was like the thegangreen.com last week after the Broncos loss.

I just made an account.... I hope they do not deny me.

Minor exception: We weren't threatening to murder people or their families on here. ;)
