Wow....Rodney's final words on NBC:"Ryan has a big mouth and he's super arrogant,but he's a great coach"....................Dungy,Costas and the other pundit,just sat there,stunned.

Harrison's the best thing to happen to sports journalism in years......"You go,Rodney!".

I'm sure it's just a matter of time before this becomes a minor controversy. Florio will be whipping that up within the hour. But you have to love Rodney. Can't say I disagree with him.

So far that is an accurate assessment on Ryan. The question still is whether they can keep this up and what Ryan and his team will do when they face the inevatable adversity.

They faced some today. They blew a 14 point lead and came back go win the game. Last week they couldve folded at half time but they did not. Last year we don't win either of those games.

Rex is such a breath of fresh air over Mangini. We actually make halftime adjustments, and the team has personality and an identity.

Harrison tells it like it is.

I have no problem with that.

I wish there were more Harrison's.

I'm talking about real adversity. Both the Pats and Titans never took a comanding lead and even when the tide was against the Jets, the other team let the Jets hang around.

Let's see if the Jets get blown out in a game how they respond the following week. Let's see how they respond with an impact player like Jenkins or Revis misses a game (I don't see Calvin Pace as an impact player). Let's see how they respond being down by 2 TDs in the third quarter.

I love Rodney but I cannot bring myself to help give ratings to any program that has Keith Olbermann on it. And I'm not even going to get into his politics. I just can't bring myself to watch him because the guy is an insufferable douchebag.

I agree 100%

You must like him more than I do.

if you sawthe highlights today the first thing he started with was the video of brady checking the footballs covered in a towel before the start of the game and made a remark about brady checking if 'they were his'

Yeah. Olbermann is a real expert on balls being that he's seen so many up close and personal. Mods, if this is unacceptable, please feel free to delete. I just hate Olbermann with a passion, both as a Pats fan and as a human being, and wish horrible things on him.

EDIT: And I cannot believe that Rodney can just sit down the table from this douche and take this. I'm absolutely shocked that Rodney hasn't shut him down yet.

I"m watching costas interview Ryan at the half of the sunday nighter and half the freakin interview was spent talkin about either Rodney's comments (which costas had to ask) and then about last week's handshake (or lack thereof with Bill). I seriously don't think costas knew that Ryan and BB spoke in the tunnel after the game.

Also, Ryan gave a good answer about the Rodney thoughts. saying as long as we're 3 - 0 we'll take it. he's got a point!

How about questions about today's win? Maybe something about mark sanchez?

Ryan was on with Costas at halftime tonite.......Costas tried to bait him about Harrison's analysis and the limp handshake with BB..............Ryan wouldn't bite............said he talked to Belichick for a few minutes after the game.I must admit he was classy......Ryan even shaved and combed his hair!!!

Did he suck in his guts??

I cannot believe he let Cotchery say that "We're the best team in the NFL right now."

Why do they keep asking for it?

Well, lets give them the Lombardi now then. :pigsfly:

he is the only reason i do not watch it. i can at least tolorate everyone else on the show but olbermann is such a douche he just ruins it for me. i hate every cell in his body. last week i guess he was giving rodney a hard time about the pats losing to the jets, and he also was giving him **** about SB42. olbermann defines a douchebag.

Because they are one of the best teams in the NFL right now. They are 3-0. However, that defense can be had and the Jets have largely benefitted from three straight weeks of opponents' offenses shooting themselves in the foot time and time again. That's not going to happen against New Orleans next weekend. Also, I'm going to make the prediction now that we're going to hand the Gang Green a nice, solid beating the next time these two teams meet up.

Screw it- I'm pretty liberal and I absolutely hate the guy, so it's not a politics thing. He just sucks.

I couldn't see his guts, but they did have to use a front-end loader to get him in front of the camera.
