LOL. You guys are breaking my heart.
What were they doing in Miami and New York, holding hands and singing Kumbaya in an effort to end violence in football? Were they praying for Tom Brady's knee in Indianapolis and San Diego? Did they pass around a hat to pay for Brady's surgery in Pittsburgh? Was there a moment of silence in Baltimore? Did they bust out in tears in Tennessee?
Most of this talk about class in the NFL is totally empty. We are talking about a sport where a big part of the object is to hit the other guy as hard as you can get away with. It's not unlike boxing in that respect...but didn't Evander Holyfield beat the ever-loving crap out of his opponent with a lot of class?
I'm sure that some Buffalo fans WERE cheering when they found out about Brady's injury. I'm also sure that a lot of New England fans would cheer under the same circumstances had the situation been reversed, so don't give me this whole holier than thou attitude where you feel your fans are superior.
Cry me a river, and then try to convince me to feel sorry for a healthy person that is set to make about $30 million this year.
