Can Bisping even fight anymore? I'll be the first to admit that I'm not what you would call a huge MMA/UFC fan, but I heard somewhere that he sustained some brain damage after the Dan Henderson fight.

! I hadn't heard that; I certainly hope not. Henderson is an absolute animal, so maybe Bisping shouldn't have done so much talk trash and piss him off so bad. Hendo's shot at the end may have been questionable, but the fight wasn't stopped. You have to keep going until that ref pulls you off. Still though, I hope he didn't get any lasting injury.

I read that Diego Sanchez is next in line to fight Penn. That should be great!

I'm not saying GSP has to rush into it but he will not face a challenge within his division. It's not happening. He can stay there and continue to mop up but if he want's a true challenge he will have to move up in weight.

Bisping? No thanks. That dude is so overrated it's not even funny. GSP would dominate him.

I guess I'm just tired of GSP running over everyone. I'm greedy. I want to see a superfight.

I didn't throw Bisping's name out there as someone who could beat GSP, I threw it out there as a nice entry into the weight class. Having GSP gain weight and then immediately fight A. Silva is ridiculous to me, feed him a can first I say.

That being said, Bisping's camp failed him horribly in the fight against Hendo (who is a great fighter). The fact that he was continuously circling to his left is a function of poor preparation and terrible coaching IMO. Bisping is not a bad fight at all, he just probably isn't champion material. It's not as if he got knocked out by a Ray Mercer or Keith Jardine-level fighter.

That was unbelievable to me. My buddies and I, who all train, were like "why is he circling that way?" We couldn't believe it. His corner was yelling at him to not do it, but I heard Rogan say that he thinks that Bisping got rocked early on (very possible, Hendo hits HARD) and wasn't thinking clearly.

It should have been muscle memory at that point not to circle like that, but I didn't hear the corner yelling that. Granted, I was at a bar watching the fight so I didn't hear it perfectly. I'm willing to bet though, that the fight would have stood a good chance of going to decision had Bisping not done that. People like to hate on Bisping because they see him as ****y, but I don't think they quite get his sense of humor. Regardless, he's not a bad fighter, he's just not an exceptional fighter.

On a related note, it seems that TUF vets aren't doing so well these days....I wonder if a true champ will ever go through that show.

Yeah, try and catch it again. His corner was yelling out in a thick British accent to "quit F&^%ING CIRCLING TO THAT SIDE." It was funny. He is a good fighter though, you're right.

I think they just need a little time to develop. Amir will be great I think, this was just a badly reffed fluke.

I agree. I just don't think they waste GSP's or their time booking a fight with Bisping.
