Reiss: Nunn cut

So, assuming Slater is going to IR, it looks like it might be Moss, Welker, Galloway, Lewis, Edelman, and Aiken.

Slater's a safety, so either way it's pretty much a lock, at this point, that it'll be that 6.

jets will pick him up for sure if not anyone else...

Well, you guys dont need to worry about the Vikings picking him up.

Maybe the Bears?

He was definitely one of my binkys. I was pulling for him to make the 53-man roster. Too bad.

Everything looked good except for his speed. Aiken actually looked better against the Gnats and he barely gets on the field at WR. I'm sure BB has Tate in mind down the road anyway.

Pretty amazing story. The kid couldn't even get a non-roster invite to a camp last year and now we're all fretting that he won't make it to the practice squad. Pretty great advertisement for staying in shape and not giving up. Would have liked to keep him around, but good luck to him regardless.

Had I not seen him make an amazing one handed catch, I would

not have cared. Now, I am sorry that they didn't cut Lewis or

Galloway who have shown very little.

SSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH..........

Everybody be quiet. Hopefully we can pretend it never happened and he'll quietly slip through waivers and make the PS.

Please ;)

This guy is good , i hope we can keep him .

We can't keep them all ,i suppose, but I was hoping that he would make the cut. More power to him ,that kid got a shot and opened a lot of eyes.

I must admit that I am somewhat fuming over this. I really wanted him to make the 53.

How the heck did Greg Lewis make the team? He was the invisible man all preseason. He seems like a passive player who makes little physical adjustment towards the ball if it's slightly underthrown. What does Lewis bring? Leadership and experience? Don't we already have that with Moss and Welker??:( I am ticked that Nunn will sign elsewhere, because you know the Jets or Colts will take a look at him.

I am not anointing Nunn or anything, I just felt he brought so much more to the table than the fairweather Lewis did. Nunn would have been that young and explosive player to give our WR corps a bit of versatility. Moss and Welker fill the "smarts, production, and leadership roles" while Aiken and Nunn can learn from the older guys and give them a breather from time to time.

I have been sad since it happened..but..it's a numbers game..Good luck to him!! I would have loved it if they had found a way to keep him..BUT...they could not find a way. Today we will find out where he goes...
