Randy Moss: "I'm the best wide receiver of all-time"

1.) I don't like his tone. I don't care how talented he is, you don't see Brady ever saying stuff like this, just like you don't see Belichick saying stuff like this (although both can make the case if they want). He should be publicly more humble, IMO.

2.) Randy Moss is the most dangerous weapon ever on an offense. He can beat deep double coverage whenever he wants. But that's his primary move. He just goes down the sideline and jumps over the defenders, or simply outruns them. But he is not known for going through the middle, and when he does he generally drops to the ground. Jerry Rice could do everything, and he did so on a consistent basis. That's why I think Rice > Moss. But as a constant threat to go deep? Yah, Moss = the best, IMO.

Rice is better than Moss.

I agree, watch "The Moss Method" on youtube....its his training video...he trains as hard as anyone....if people want to knock him for not going hard on every play...fine....but I think he is just one of the few football players who has actually come out and been honest about it...

Here's a snippet from a Belichick Press Conference in 2005 discussing Moss taking plays off as a Raider..
Wow. BB saying taking plays off is acceptable. I would have thought BB saying that was as likely as the Pope saying Satanism is ok.

The fact people can argue he's #1 (and have good arguments) reminds he of how the Pats got him for a 4th rounder... insane. And, if I recall, that 4th rounder was part of another draft day trade which netted another star.

Every time I hear people bash that draft, I ust don't understand. Sure, not many rookies made the 07 team... but MAN - with Welker, Moss, and future considerations (isn't that how they got Mayo?). Amazing.

Rice - Moss - they both fantastic. But BB, unquestionned #1.

SMH. A lot of u people still don't get it. Just the fact that u can put moss in the same sentence with rice means he already won. Regardless of whether u think rice is better. Rice is someone some people say is the best PLAYER ever. So to have moss LEGITMATELY in the conversation of the best wr ever definately speaks to moss greatness regardless of all the skills some of u say he does not possess. The guy STILL has a chip on his shoulder for the way he was castrated by the media coming out of college. Many in the media openly took bets that moss will not last 2yrs in nfl. Dr z GUARANTEED that the guy will be a flop. Did not even have moss in his top 5 wr in that draft. So excuse the guy if he sometimes wants to feel himself. he has earned it

Moss is the most athletically talent receiver ever, by far. But Jerry Rice is the best receiver. He made himself into being the best ever by hard work. And Rice would have never quit on a team like Moss did in Oakland.

Different sort of talents, different era. We shouldn't compare them, they are/were both great receivers.
Off topic: I just found out there is another randy moss, who works for the nfl network. A white bald guy. I saw a video that said: "Randy Moss has the latest from Minnesota on Brett Favre, Tarvaris Jackson and more". LOL :D

And how do u know this? Oh yeah randy doesn't work hard. He just gets out of bed and catches td's. We all know he is the first big tall fast wr. That's all u need to succeed. Since gannon left, how many offensive raider players have made the probowl? Keep in mind, the probowl means nothing because everybody damn near makes the probowl. Were u aware that Shell was running an offense from the 60's. Randy will still be on the raiders if he did not make it clear he wanted out. Looking back, do u blame him? Imagine rice catching passes from Aaron brooks and andrew walter. Nah, he won't be frustrated at all. Are those guys even still in the league?
