If you mean undrafted free agents, they are signing now. Check KFFL.

Thanks - ESPN was really sold on Hoyer; I think it was Kiper.

Pats sign UDFA QB Brian Hoyer, Michigan State

They apparently got the guy they want.

According to the Detroit News, his stats (180 of 353 passes, 51% completion rate, 2,404 yards, 9 TDs, 9 INTs) are misleading:

McShay said on a "SportsCenter" segment that Hoyer could be a "diamond in the rough" in this year's draft and likened him to Seattle's Matt Hasselbeck and New England's Tom Brady -- players drafted in the sixth round who became Pro Bowl quarterbacks.

McShay admitted he wasn't initially impressed with Hoyer, or the Michigan State offense. But after closely watching film of Michigan State's game against Iowa this past season, the first thing he noticed was six dropped passes in the first quarter. McShay made it a point to mention that Hoyer's numbers suffered this season from 73 dropped passes.

Re: Pats sign UDFA QB Brian Hoyer, Michigan State

Obviously, the guy has insufficient touch on his passes. ;)

Re: Pats sign UDFA QB Brian Hoyer, Michigan State

ESPN went to this kid a couple of times during coverage. Seemed like a good kid in a tough spot - falling out of the draft before a live national audience. I'm really glad we scooped him up!

Re: Free Agents

Those are three good udfa's, continuing the Pats tradition of strong udfa's.

McClinton is a big, fast FS, can play some ST, and will push Spann for a spot. A complement to Chung, who is more physical.

Love is a big, fast corner, developmental prospect, depth in case of injury.

Hoyer is a long-shot, but Gutierrez isn't so challenging that he doesn't have a chance.

Re: When are UDFA signings announced?

Frantz Joseph, when are they going to sign him????

Re: Pats sign UDFA QB Brian Hoyer, Michigan State

Did anyone see how dissapointed Hoyer looked as ESPN had him on camera several times at his house with his girlfriend all bummed out?

Glad to see BB take a chance,The kid looked dissapointed sitting there

I will admit I was hoping for Graham Harrell but I think this was a good choice.

I remember 2 years ago when ESPN kept on showing Brady Quinn up until his name was called - He was sitting there with his girlfriend who didn't look the least bit interested in being there at that time.
