Didn't want him anyway... :(

IF....and I mean IF....the price were right, I would have liked him oppo Moss on the other side. BB LOVES both he and chad johnson. Loves them both. But, like i said, the price would have had to be very favorable for the pats.

Paired with Branch..... That should make for a very interesting passing attack.

Do they draft Crabtree now if available?

The Seahags have less in QB talent then the Jets.

Hasselbeck is done.

Good question. Maybe they weren't sure of Crabtree's health - now and going forward. The top of the draft got a little more interresting.

He was too expensive for our tastes anyway. I would have taken him here, of course. But I didn't get my hopes up for him. Nate Washington was far more reasonable for us and would have been the guy I wanted to line up opposite Moss. Deverey Henderson anybody?

...and another fine receiver fades into obscurity in the dank recesses of the precipitous northwest

Whoa, whoa, whoa there, big fella.

The Seahawks still have Seneca Wallace.

(And I'm only half-kidding.)

It's for the best. It took posters here several years to learn to spell "Cassel".

5 years ... more than $40 million, with more than $15 million guaranteed

This move makes a lot of sense for Seattle. And now they won't have to take Crabtree in the draft. I expect them to take Eugene Monroe.

Or they trade Branch to us for one of our twos.

Ha! I would love that because:

1. I like Branch and how he plays with Brady.

2. This board would explode
