Again, where was my claim of being a great football mind? Quite a few people, including yourself, seem to be willing to ascribe positions to me that I never claimed to hold. Why is that? Could the posting of a thread really elicit that sort of contempt? Or is the more likely cause of all this venom being spewed the fact that many of said posters, either consciously or not, feel like I've attacked something sacrosanct to them, namely Belichick and/or the Patriots' front office judgement? If my opinion holds no worth, such effort surely shouldn't be spent in rebuking me, which leaves only the latter option. Hmm, I wonder what's more likely?

Logically you may have a point Sean. I said Peppers would be the way to go but if we did the deal we would have had Peppers CAP mony to deal with so we would have been stagnant once more.
