Well I cant stand Kurt warner, but cant have the stillers win another one..

I can't see how the Cardinals will win, which is why I picked them. The Steelers just aren't a points machine. If the Cards can egt out to a elad, the Steelers will have a hard time playing catch up.

That said, anything is better than all the commercials showing Goober #2 hoisting the Lombardi.

GO AZ:yeeha: But I have a feeling the Squealers will win:mad:I hope that's WRONG tho.

Warner is a sanctimonious jerk, but I don't want the guy who almost disabled Wes Welker getting a ring this year, so I agree with you.

Was that hit on McGahee harder or is McG not as tough as Welker?

I have a feeling the Cards will win. They are a great story right now with Warner and nobody expected them to make it so far. Almost like the 2001 Pats.

Just to clarify, the question is who do you think will win, not who you want to win. Thank you.

I think the Steelers will win, unfortunately. Last week, I wasn't sure whether or not to take them seriously. This week, I take them seriously but the Steelers just have a Super Bowl calibur defense. Warner is pretty immobile and if he can't get the ball out on time the Pittsburgh defense is going to have a field day.

Steelers 21-17.

The Cards win 24-20.

Wow, that many people really think the Cards will win, or do you just hate the Steelers that much? I will be pulling hard for AZ for obvious reasons but not the most confident. Ben could be a tough matchup for that AZ defense and with the Steelers defense, who knows what AZ's offense will be able to match.

Reasons to be confident:
- Whisenhunt is a great coach and knows the Steelers pretty good as evidenced by their meeting last year. AZ has a considerable edge in coaching IMO.

- Warner is a proven winner, he may get rattled at times but he's not Mcnabb who probably would have folded against this defense in a big spot. I really hope Boldin is 1. Healthy and 2. Over whatever happened yesterday and won't be a selfish putz on super sunday. Fitz is a tough matchup for any corner and the Steelers do not have elite CBs.

- Hines Ward's injury if serious leaves Pitt's offense pretty limited. Once he got injured in the AFCC the Steelers had the fluke play to Holmes, a FG drive, and that was about it.

- AZ's front 7 is a troublesome matchup for Pitt's subpar Oline.

Lets see

hmmmm

Rooney Family owned team which has won a league high/tied 5 SB Titles and almost always wins the SBs they are in

VS.

A team which not only is in the Super Bowl for the FIRST time but has previously as an NFL team not made the playoffs since Lincoln was president

Any given sunday..BUT I'll go with a no brainer ....

Pittsburgh and it won't be close,Probably a 17 point win,maybe more

They said that about "The Greatest Show on Turf".

Steelers.

Take the awesome defense every time.

I think Pitt will win this one solely b/c of their vaunted D, however-I think the Cards have areas where they can give them matchup problems.

The Cards active front 7 could give Pitt's weak OL some fits. Zona's receiving corps could very well give Pitt's shaky secondary, especially Ike Taylor, fits as well.

In the end, it's all going to come down to who can protect the ball better. If Zona's front 7 can tee off on Big Ben, this game will be close. However-if Pitt's sick blitz packages get to Warner, it's going to be a long night for Zona.

The X factor in this game will be Todd Haley vs. **** LeBeau.

- Whisenhunt is a great coach and knows the Steelers pretty good as evidenced by their meeting last year. AZ has a considerable edge in coaching IMO.

Most importantly, he knows Big Ben's tendencies and ticks. Last time they played in the desert in '07, BR had a terrible game. It was obvious he and Grimm game planned for every little detailed tendency BR had.

I agree with DTunafan. I expect Pittsburgh to win but I can see how the Cards could do it. The Steelers offence really isn't very good and Big Ben can be played the way they handled McNabb - make him hold the ball too long and make mistakes. OTOH the Steelers defence is a really dominant one and if they get to Warner the Cards are toast.
