To check my facts for another thread I was about to start, I went to the NFL's official Super Bowl website and went to the "Standings" page of the "History" section. There I was surprised to see that the Pats are still listed as 3-2, the Giants as 2-1.

It's almost a year later but no one's gotten around to updating this yet?

I believe that Kraft heads the website update committee. They gave him that when they decided that Polian and Jeff Fischer needed to stay on the competition committee so that their teams wouldn't fall out of contention.

I ****ing wish it never happened.

I ****ing wish it never happened.

Man....I really missed you around here the last few months...don't disappear again

No it happened... Eli got sacked and we won the game. At least thats what happened in my parallel universe...

OK, put that along with what Carlton Fisk says, that the Red Sox won the 1975 World Series, 3 games to 4. ;)

Yeah. It's like the whole thing was just a nightmare...it's the morning of February 3, 2008...I just got out of bed, wondering how I'm going to get through the day until game time...time to get the drinks and food ready for my guests...get into my Brady Jersey...NO...NO...snap out of it...it's OK...it's over...you don't have to go back there again...you're OK...you've dealt with it...you can handle it...noooooooooo

It didn't happen. NFL.com is correct.

Get with the program, people!

Thanks big guy. I'll never leave again!

You know, I though I had a bad dream. ;)

I thought I did too. Seriously...the keg of Heineken put me out of it right after the last shot to Moss. I woke up a few hours later horrified by what I saw on my television.

Of if only I could forget...

No, you got it all wrong. What sack? Assante caught the ball! And upon winning his thrid ring, decided not to want to leave the Patriots after all.

Man, imagine if Jabar Gaffney hadn't caught that touchdown pass, we hadn't won the division over Miami and we weren't headed to another Super Bowl against Kurt Warner.

What a crappy year that would have been.
