I believe we all thought the season was over in the first quarter of the first game. But, even through all the injuries the Patriots have put up another great season. So if they move on to the play-offs or not thanks for another exciting year.

Here here.

Great season !!

Lots of great memories....

Amazing.....

GP PATS!!

I actually thought they'd win this game and never really had any doubt, even when Jackson was going nuts.

This team has made me so proud, regardless.

Great great season. They defined resilience. Coaching staff was great. We saw a lot of people step up. Guyton, Mayo, Cassel, Morris/Jordan/BJGE, Wilhite, we saw a lot of youth and consequently we saw a lot of our future. It was very nice to see. Very proud of the team.

For me, its defined by the coming out parties of Cassel and Mayo, Gost and Brandon and coaching brilliance while at the same time being fairly disappointed in names such as Watson, D Thomas and the Oline at the beginning of the season.

Belichick is the best coach ever, I'll never doubt him again. He may get it done in sloppy ways, but he's a straight go getter. We're 11-5 without TFB.

I'm praying a late christmas miracle occurs today.

After Brady went down, if you had told me we'd be 11-5 I would have been shocked. However, if you also told me we'd need help to get into the playoffs with that record, I would have just said you were full of it.

HJATS OFF TO OUR BELOVED PLAYERS, COACHES AND OTHER MEMBERS OF THE PATRIOTS!!!

What a great achievement in the face of all these injuries and problems!

JUST AMAZING!!

We have done our best and have no control over what happens next.

I am happy that we did our part and got the W. Strangely content irrespective of what happens next. :|

I can't say I enjoyed this season more than last season (although, it's up there), but I'm certainly prouder of this team than I was last year, and that's saying a lot.

Thanks for a gritty, magical, and inspiring season Pats, even if it is the end (can't believe I'm saying that! )

Congratulations to the Pats on a great season especially with ALL the injuries. It was interesting, entertaining, and showed what great character this team posses.

They exceeded my expectations... just one more bit of help will make me even more proud.

Hats off to Josh McDaniels for a great Offense WITHOUT Brady.

I'll just copy and paste my post from the Bills thread...

I just want to share how damn proud I am of this team regardless of what happens in New Jersey today. For them to sustain the kind of losses they have and still keep marching toward January has made me even more proud of them this year than I was of them last year or ever before since I've been watching. Great season guys and may the Favre still some juice in that right arm to torch the Phins. Go Jets...

Thanks for the season, guys. Hopefully it's not over; if it is, it has been one hell of a ride. Lots of players stepped up HUGE: Moss, Welker, Meriweather, Faulk, Morris, Mayo, Wilfork, Cassel, Gostkowski...I feel like this list could go on forever.

Thanks, New England Patriots. And here is to a playoff game next week!

BB for COTY!!!!

I have to agree 100%, what an amazing season, regardless of what happens next. Belichick should be coach of the year. I don't think ANY team has lost so many key players and went 11-5. Amazing !!!

great season by the players and coaches..

and here is to being back on this board next week for a playoff game

I can. I like being the underdog. Last season was just stessful.

Also, I like that our offense became less finesse this year. Hopefully when Brady comes back we will run the same amount as we have this season. Finally, it was great seeing the young players on the defense step up.

Brady's middle name is Fred?

On a serious note, it was fun to watch them this year, a couple frustrating games but they're playing their best ball right now and would love to see them in the playoffs to see what damage they can.

Go Jets .... ugh
