Bruins are Back

Any of you guys saw the Red Wings nailing the oilers???? Wow...Hudler rocked....Scored two crucial pointers.......

Great win in Montreal tonight. Good to see Looch resist fighting Laraque and score a goal in an important game.

Yeahhh...Looch was good :D:p...That creep...Always on the lookout for a fight :disagreement:

Bruins crush the Islanders 7-2

they really seem to be scoring a lot of goals this year!

It was great seeing the Garden full and rocking again.

Dang, the B's beat Detroit tonight, and looked pretty good in the process. This team looks very, very well built. They seem to have a great mix of veterans, and youth, with 4 solid lines grinding out every shift. I hope they can stay healthy, and keep this up. There are tons of disenchanted Bruins fans in this city, that I bet younger Bostonians have no clue that this used to be a hockey town. Let's hope they keep their good play up all season long.

Last night was awesome. I love the way Bergy and Hnidy played. Hnidy really stepped it up when Ward went down with an injury. Hopefully it isn't too serious because I would hate to see this team without Ferrence and Ward at the same time for an extended period.

It's strange to think that the Pats might be the worst team in town this year:eek:

Yeah, I saw the game! And all the games that I miss out on watching, I just visit sportsviews.com and check out. :D

Alright, I'm eating crow right now. I've got to admit Peter Chiarelli is probably the best Gm this Bruins team has had in decades, if not ever. It's great to see good [phenomenal] hockey being played again in Beantown. For all the die hards who chose to stick with that owner and team, I congratulate you. You deserve this season more than us other fans who are jumping back on the band wagon.

Regardless of this season I still think Jacobs is the devil in disguise and doesn't deserve the fans or the revenue from Boston.

An amazing job by Chiarelli and these young players though . Hats off to the ice for them.

after being a crappy organization for many, many years, it is good to see the Bruins playing well again. A lot of youth and some good vets playing inspired hockey. They are off to an amazing start

Great game vs Canadiens tonight. Damn I hate them and their fans so much, much like my hate for Indy. Big Z has two goals so far and its great since it shuts up their fans who are booing him here at home! Kinda like earlier in the season when they were playing in Montreal and all the fans were saying Lucic's name and he got a goal and silenced them all. One more period to go.

Great win tonight Thomas and Zdeno were excellent. I was real worried in the last two minutes when Montreal was getting a lot of good scoring chances but luckily the B's held it off. WOOOO!

Thomas was great once again with some highlight reel saves. I also love the fact that he stood up for Ward and smoked Kostitsyn.

Yeah Thomas hitting Kostisyn was awesome, and really shows how much these guys care for each other. I have always disliked Kostisyn (Andrei) hes a good player but he also dives and has been known to take cheap shots. He also has a smug look about him that pisses me off haha.

Another great win today against Montreal. I love how Montreal tries to be as physical as the B's. They always come out hitting hard, but once they realized that the B's wont be intimitated they seem to back off. They obviously have some tough players but overall they are pretty soft IMO.

its going to be fun in the Boston area this spring. bruins and Celt's poised to go deep in the playoffs just like in the 80s:D

i love the bruins! theres something about this team this year that makes me so happy!!!

hi!!! :)

The Sporting News has a nice six-page article in this week's magazine about Marc Savard. (Sorry no links - it's an exclusive to the print version of the magazine and not on the web yet.) They also have a column about how the current Bruins have revived the Boston area's love for hockey, and another short piece on how five of the Original Six will make the playoffs (first time since 1996.)

So are the Bruins back? Hey, when was the last time one of the big three national sports magazines devoted six pages to the Bruins?
