Or is he still out?

I think we will find out in the next 3 days....

I sure hope so.

I heard on the post game show, from Gresh that his sources say Lamont Jordon will be back on the weekend.

The original report was out 2-3 weeks so this is only the second week.

Everything I have seen indicates it will be at least 1 more week for Morris, but Jordan may be back for Indy.

I'm guessing that when you say it's not a season ender, that means it is still kind of bad.

I didn't say it, Morris did. And not necessarily, it may just be to re-assure us. Look how long before Maroney hit IR. Just feels good to know Morris isn't headed there form the mystery injury.

When I said "you" I wasn't referring to you specifically. I was kind of using the general term, which in this case refers to Morris.

What if it's not the knee and it's the sterno-clavicular joint giving Morris problems again? I didn't see anything obvious from the Denver game that suggested Morris had a serious knee injury.

I don't think anybody is going to know the answer to that question with the exception of BB, Morris, and the Pats' training staff.

This quote from him does not have me feeling warm & fuzzy:

“Initially, I was pretty upset,” Morris said yesterday after speaking to a group of students about nutrition at Plymouth South Elementary School. “Thankfully, I have my family, friends, and teammates that are helping me shift focus from the negative and look at the positive of coming back.”

The fact he is talking about needing family & friends to distract him from the negative of the situation indicates to me we are talking about a bit more than 2-3 weeks. You don't need a cheering up for missing a few weeks. For all we know "the positive of coming back" could be potentially looking forward to the playoffs ...

I'm not normally the pessimistic type, but just something about that quote that set off alarm bells for me ...

Also remember he was talking to elementary school kids. I think that's key to "how" he's talking about it.

I don't think that quote is him addressing the kids. It is only noted that he spoke to a reporter after talking to kids.

Maybe Sammy just needed extra support because of missing all of last season and now another few weeks on top of that? Maybe he's just a little bummed:cool: At least I HOPE that's the case.

I think he's still a week away. I'm sure the team wants him to be as close to 100% for the Bills which is a more vital game than the Colts.
