It looked to me that he took at least 3 steps after catching the ball.
I was drinking, but it looked like a catch and fumble to me.

Never had control.

Three steps, you must have drinking the hard stuff.

I thought it was both feet, and a football move...

where is the 3 steps coming from?

He NEVER had control. Helllllooo, is this thing on?

Looked like he had control to me, Tucked it in, and made a couple of steps...

Did you even watch the replays?

I saw what you did. Even Al Michaels and John Madden said the same thing.

I thought it was a catch and was waiting for a challenge.

you guys are talking about the jammer INT right? the one jammer knocked out of moss's hands was not a catch. Look at both plays and tell me which one was a catch, honestly.

It was a catch. Moss had the ball in control, took two steps thus 'making a football move' and had the ball knocked loose out of bounds. BB should have challenged the call.

Forum Protocol Question: Is this the part where I next call folks with the opposite opinion "homers" for supporting BB's decision?

You mean like if I say I don't think it would have been overturned?

Just know that I should already by protocol haved called you names and said things like "Do you even watch much NFL" because your post was negative against the Patriots in some small way.

BB should have challenge that play regardless. We needed all the break and help we could get with our offense. It was worth a shot.

How about the non offensive pass intereference against jackson when meriweather was going to intercept the ball and then was hurt.

No,
The sideline throw to moss that got knocked out of bounds. The Jammer int was, obviously, not a catch.

Well, I'm being very argumentative today. Sorry about that.

Yes, VA Pats - I watch replay's. Thanks.

I will re-watch tonight. My recollection was he caught the ball made the turn without having possession and went out of bounds where he gained possession and then it was either forced out or he dropped it.

Anyway - What Qtr was that play??

I'm thinking second. And no one has answered my original question, what determines "control"? Some here have said 3 steps, I was just questioning where that came from. I was under the impression it was 2 feet down and a football move.

My recollection of the play was he caught it, tucked it, and Jammer(?) swatted it out of the breadbasket.

Look up 'facietious' in the dictionary tonight.

Right, but he has to make the move in bounds, obviously, and I think that's where the confusion lies. I think he was out of bounds.

Anyway - Do you remember what QTR it was in? I'll watch it right now.

BTW - If it was in fact a missed opportunity for us, then I blame Randy as well for not yelling over to Bill and telling him he had it.
