Mayo #8 in Scouts, Inc.'s top impact rookies

Scout Inc over at ESPN ranks the top 20 Impact rookies. They have Mayo at # 8 which is the highest for all defensive rookies. Apparently there is a misprint though because Gholston is nowhere to be found on this list.

ESPN - Don't have to be drafted high to make an impact - NFL

Can't argue with those rankings.

Gholston is also nowhere to be found on the football field either.

and 1st defensive player on list!!!!

All those tackles getting the job done.....

only 2 defensive guys on the top 14...and both are lbs

Not sure, Gholston is making a pretty big impact to the Jets salary cap.

hes playing real well. id like to see some turnovers by mayo. he had the reputation coming out of college to be a playmaker, and i wholly expect thats what he will become. but i dont know if hes there yet. good player either way, though

Mayo is in line for DROY if he can keep it up. Stay healthy man!


Man, I really wish the Titans hadn't drafted Johnson so early. I was hoping we could trade up for him in the 2nd.
