Cowboys lose to the supposed worst team in the division and the Eagles lose to the BEARS. The Bears are not good. Why is the media so obsessed with this whole division, especially the Cowboys?

It's still the best division in football.

nfc east is great. cant take them down a notch based on 1 loss to a good chicago team that usually plays well at home. i think the super bowl winner comes out of that division this year again.

I think the NFL is just getting to that point where you can't count anyone out of any game. Parity is king.

There is a ton of talent in the NFC East division and I agree that the Super Bowl winner could definately come from that division and in fact if there were betting on it the NFC East would be the favorite.

The Giants have an EXCELLENT shot at repeating after seeing what transpired this week albeit only week 4 - Never thought it was even a possibility 4 weeks ago

Maybe because they are the best division in football. The Eagles were without their MVP, their best linemen and their starting tight end. They had every chance to win that game. The Cowboys, well they lost to someone in their own division.

The teams in the NFC East are certainly good however the division winner may not do so well in the play-offs because they will beat each other up.

Psh, AFC East is just as good. Miami is finally getting better, Buffalo is undefeated, Jets put up 56, and we are the Patriots.

I am not so sure Miami is any better than last year - Those trick plays which fooled the Pats D and BB will not work every week

Expect the Dolphins to come back to reality this week when their opponent plays smarter than the Pats did and whoops their ass

Sure buddy. I don't think any team in the AFC East can beat any team in the NFC East right now.

The Bills are possibly the best team in the division, and they haven't played anyone. The Jets and Pats are too inconsistent, and the Dolphins suck worse than most teams in the league. So because they beat us, they're better?

The Bills crushed Seattle in week 1 and Seattle is the best team in that division or at least tied for it. - Seattle is not a pushover and when the Pats visit there you may change your mind, their defense is pretty good overall if you overlook the loss to the Bills and if the Seahawks get healthier at WR then they could have a chance to go as far as any in the NFC.

Let's not build up Seattle to be bigger than they really are.

IIRC the Eagles lose to Chi was the division's first loss outside the division. It is a strong division and coupled with the fact that it is based in the media capitals (NY, Wash,) the press tends to play it up.In this case,it is deserved praise though that game last night was very winnable for Philly and it may come back to hurt them in the end as one win could be the difference in that division between division champs and not making the playoffs......

Good point. If we are to pursue that line of logic, then KC> the Donkeys.

Also, to the OP- don't sell the 'Skins short. They have a lot of guys who can make big plays on offense and a solid defense. The Cowgirls' pass defense blows, and once you put Romo in a position where he has to throw on every down he'll toss a few up for grabs.

It's the best division in football, but the Cowboys are still the most overrated team ever. I have nothing against them, but talk about hype with no merit. It's ridiculous.
