Thats right I am calling you guys out. You are overeacting.

Anyone remember the infamous words uttered by Tom Jackson after the 31-0 bills game

"They hate their coach"

Well anyone who is whinning about this loss, the fans booing and/or leaving, Randy Moss alledged dogging, and/or the QB position is in the same boat as Tom Jackson was back then.

YOU ARE OVEREACTING

now step away from the ledge and realize it is near impossible to win them all, fans a stupid by nature (booze might have something to do with it), Moss is playing hard on run plays but apparently taking off pass plays (huh this doesn't make sense but thats what people seem to be ignoring), A QB deserves more than a 3 game learning curve (see Gus Ferrote yeah he is still hangnig around and starting so maybe Cassel deserves more than 3 games).

but if you guys want to keeo acting like Tom Jackson feel free.

Amen. sky is not falling yet

That's stupid. Just because some of us are more critical of players and coaches doesn't make us less of a fan. At the end of the day we all want the same thing. SUCCESS

The season is still young, Cassel did take a step back, but its not enought to write off the season.. All you can say , and any honest fan would say.. You cant go down the schedule say that is a win and that is a loss. Im not saying the Raider game is a gimmie game, and Im also saying San Diego is not going to be chalked up as a loss.. Its even money the rest of the way and its one game at a time..

I am not even worried about our defense.I expect these guys to play alot better. My biggest concern is the QB and how it affects the offense.

not sure where I said you were less of a fan because you are overeacting like Tom Jackson. just that you are overeacting.

Note: I don't know this poster is on the overeacting crowd but......

look..everyone here was critical of the coaches and players. no one was defending them for the game they played. but go ahead and read some of the posts for e.g

"josh mcdaniels exposed"
"bb losing midas touch"
"bb too old and slow to adjust"

we lost twice in 22 games. if you think the coaches are the problem then provide some *bleeping* solution who you want and what we can do about it ? just generalizing one loss and bad game across someone's entire resume IS overreacting just like the mediots who think BB is avg without brady.
i will be first to say, they sucked and BB got out coached. but come sunday i dont want anyone else to be the coach or coordinator.

That is a very fair reaction to the first 3 weeks.

Makes much sense...there are a few that do...ACTUALLY MORE than a few..it's the loud minority making dumb statements and pronouncements...

apparently you care enough to respond. feeling like maybe you were called out?

Well anyone who is whinning about this loss

We got blown out, not just beat, but blown out by a team who had one win last year...at home. Anyone who is NOT upset by this loss is insane.

One player coming off a serious surgery and starting for the first time this season ran in 4 TDs as well as throwing one.

We started the game on the 50 yard line and ended up punting. We then got in the redzone and the drive ended in an INT.

the fans booing and/or leaving

Cheers are earned, not given away for past glory.

When you're being blown out by the best team at home, you deserved to be booed.

People decided they'd rather beat traffic then watch their team play out a game that was decided early in the 4th quarter.

Randy Moss alledged dogging

Alleged? Watch the tape.

You're right about most of that stuff, but all the anti-boo "everyone who does that is a pathetic bandwagon fan" people got awful quiet after this came out:

Q:. The crowd seemed a little restless there at the end of the first half? Did you notice that? Were you surprised they were booing at you guys?

TB: I don't blame them. I don't think we gave them much reason to cheer. They want to see us do some things offensively, put the ball in the end zone, and we turned the ball over. We can't complete a pass, and I would be booing up there too if I was them.

That was from 2006. When we were with Brady and had won 3 Super Bowls a lot more recently.

I have and I see little to no evidence of Moss quiting. I see one play where maybe he could have made a better attempt but maybe he didn't see the ball. Did you happen to watch him on some of the running plays busting his ass to try to block. Does that seem like a malcontent WR to you? Yeah I quit on the team so I will stop trying to catch and add to personal stats but I will keep run blocking.

I don't understand how thinking the team laying an egg and booing a single game equates to jumping off the wagon or abandoning the team.

I am a Patriots fan, I've been a Patriots fan since 1984, if I am disgusted by a single game and want to boo their pathetic effort, then I shouldn't have to deal with you whiners telling me I am not a fan and blah blah blah.

tom is being nice..doesnt mean he is correct. as i said before, if the pats go 3 and out twice and are losing 6-0 the boo birds come out in foxboro on a punt.

I believe everyone is entitled to their opinion, but when you demoralize people’s opinions and reactions it’s childish. And ya you really called me out!! hail king of the forum:rofl:

its not the booing. It is the BB is overated threads or can't win without Tom, it is the we need another QB threads, the Randy is quiting on the team threads, and any other crazy thread that was started in complete overeaction.

and if you read my OP you would notice I was not critizing the booers actually defending them though I would never boo my team. I didn't when they were 1-15 and wont now or anytime in the future.

Haha, Brady is just wrong and Hobbs is right. Right. I have a feeling you might just be saying that because Hobbs agrees with you and Brady doesn't.

Brady understands that he should be mad at his own play rather than be mad at the people who pay his salary. That attitude is why he's a champion. Booing two three and outs is dumb for sure, but booing at all is what's being discussed here.
