I wonder who & where it will take place. I'm assuming Mass General, and I'd want the guy who fixed McGahee's knee doing it, Dr. John Uribe.

Re: Tom's Surgery

Reading the thread title I thought you had information about the subject. Would you mind adding a question mark to the title?

Re: Tom's Surgery

we should organize a rally outside the hospital to wish him well and to show our support to the greatest QB of all time.

Re: Tom's Surgery

Generally it would be in 2-3 weeks although Carson Palmer had his done after about two days. Regardless, he'll be in good hands and I am sure he'll rehab to the best of his ability and come out fine for 2009.

It'll give him time to fix that nagging shoulder injury he's had for the last 5 years.

How much do you all want to bet from now on it'll be Probable T.Brady-Knee

It'll keep him off that bad foot too :)

Re: Tom's Surgery

He had a groin injury after the superbowl that he chose to rehab instead of have surgery

Re: Tom's Surgery

I think it was mentioned on EEI yesterday that the surgery would be performed by Dr. Bert Zarins

Re: Tom's Surgery

WEEI said 5-6 days and then surgery as long as the swelling is gone. I'm sure we'll all know when he hits the hospital.

Is Dr. Bert Zarins good? Who did he perform ACL sugery before?

If this has been posted let me know, But there is a guy in Alabama that is the Wizard of all that is Sport Medicine:

Not sure if this would be the guy, but he would probably be contacted - He seems to end up either consulting or doing every BIG time athletes surgery.

I always see his name in atricles when players go down (no matter the sport).

However - I'd take this dude any day:

Did he get that injury before or during the sb?

You need to ask Tommy and BB that......however most think he had it for quite a while (throughout the playoffs) and it was pretty bad.

Re: Tom's Surgery

Did any of these guys stay at a Holiday Inn last night?

Not sure, but they did save on car insurance by switching to Geiko!!

Gotta be glad that he's in the demographic where we have the highest insurance premiums in the nation based on "quality of care", just ask my paycheck!
