When I saw we had the most viewers ever today, but that it was something like 350 members and 1,800 visitors, I was shocked and kinda pissed off. I was shocked because I figured there would be a lot more members than visitors and pissed of because of the number of DB's that would visit our site because they may be psyched Brady is hurt.

I understand that may be natural, but I sorry, I still think only an AH's would vistit our site in hopes Brady is hurt bad. How many of our visitors felt like this? Of course I have no clue, but I can't help thinking about how many opposing fans would like nothing more than to see the fall of our Pats.

So to all you visitors who are scanning through and hoping Brady is hurt bad...well, I've already told you what you are.

God willing, he'll be ok and back leading our team soon.

It was slower than a damn turtle too.

It's all the DAMN TROLLS. They are all enjoying our panic over Brady's injury.

No kidding. It's driving me nuts.

I guess I shouda made this about how slow the site is today;)

You'll have to pardon my sarcism, I'm feeling very low tonight.

don't feel low, PR....NOW we get to show all the bigmouthed media and all the haters just EXACTLY how stupid, moronic and little girl trapped in a boy's body they all are....Cassel, or whoever they decide to bring in just has to manage the offense...we'll win with D, special teams and mimimum mistakes....THE PATRIOT WAY

i am guessing there are links on other MBs saying "oh go look at this thread of the pats fans melting down because brady is hurt"

Probably right Hoodie...but you know, the fact all these fans are flocking here in hopes of finding that we are panicking just proves that all our claims that other fans were just Patriot haters were in fact true. If they weren't envious, they wouldn't be coming here like vultures.

Hear that haters:D However, we can take comfort in the fact that we'll still beat 75% of these fans teams:D

You're not the only one who's frustrated. We've got thousands of users accessing the site, all at the same time which is putting quite a load on it. We've already doubled in one day the most traffic we've ever done, so that's been the issue. You're right, all the trolls who are trying to get in and gloat judging by some of the attempted user registrations (which are moderated  ) - Ian

Good to see you're doing your best to keep out potential gloaters. Nothing would be more frustrating than some troll coming on and posting some "Ha, ha..." comments.

Much appreciated!

Well, for what its worth, I usually show up as a visitor. Just because I don't sign in. I usually post on Masslive, and sometimes come here hoping to track down more details on things in general.

well...there's a forum for other team's fans to post on here...its marked plain as day.."Visiting Locker Room"...obviously these "fans" are total nitwits...perhaps on game day the Pats thread can be moderated to block all the brainless trolls

I could not believe that the stat had the most ever online today on this board. Even more than the loss in the SB in Feb.

Are you serious? I didn't start this thread, and obviously you didn't read my other post.

No, the number of views or whatever is not important to me. What is important was that the forum was running smoothly so that everyone in here could be together and discuss the game, and with the rush of people today that hit the site and the server because of this I've had to work my butt off to try and keep it going all afternoon into late this evening so that we could all obviously stay together and keep track of what's going on. Needless to say I've had this laptop on my lap for about 11 hours now. All because I have a fansite for this team that I run because I enjoy obviously being a part of this community.

Yes, obviously I'm a Pats Fan and I'm very aware of what happened today. I sat here with my son this afternoon watching the game and I still have the same sick feeling in my stomach that you do.....

Wow....this one stuns me, and I really hope you're not serious

too many people were drunk and could not find the comp on super bowl sunday, so this is not a suprise to me

They all flooded in here within minutes of the Brady injury. It was unreal. I deleted quite a few of the obvious ones (HaHaBrady...etc.) to prevent them from coming in here. The rest are in the Visiting Locker Room. - Ian

That's why the registrations are moderated, just for that reason. They're moved into the Visting Locker Room to prevent interruption to the gameday threads. - Ian
