  1. HEY BRO! WHAT UP?
That was some good stuff! If you show this to people on this message board, they will think you made it up. What really caught my attention was this comment, "When the Pats hurried opposing passers, they gave up a league-leading 7.3 yards after catch". With that said, I assume this is when the Pats blitzed opposing QB's because they certainly couldn't get pressure with only 4 rushers. Also, BB would have his DB's play 5-10 off of the line of scrimmage which really irritated me. However, some people have made some good comments that the secondary was so bad, it didn't give the rush enough time to make a play. While I do agree with this, I still saw the Pats rush get stoned at the line of scrimmage on a regular basis immediately after the snap. Hopefully, the additions to the secondary can allow the Pats rush to make a play. If they still can't get to the QB, expect them to make a splash for an edge rusher in 2010.

Ha ha. Sent you a PM but it says you don't accept them. I don't like this message format because it's not private and this place is cliquey enough already. Have a nice 4th!

  6. HEY BRO! WHAT UP?
Since BB failed to draft anybody, I hope he either trades for Peppers or stands pat until '10 free agency. If Phillip Rivers can hold out until next offseason to re-sign, Merriman should be a free agent. Also, If Peppers doesn't sign long term with the Panthers, I think he could be a Patriot in '10. Lastly, the pipe dream is the possibility of Ware becoming available. If LB's are still a weakness in '10 and Ware is franchised, I have no problem trading a 1st and 3rd for a one man wrecking crew on defense.
