What really caught my attention was this comment, "When the Pats hurried opposing passers, they gave up a league-leading 7.3 yards after catch". With that said, I assume this is when the Pats blitzed opposing QB's because they certainly couldn't get pressure with only 4 rushers. Also, BB would have his DB's play 5-10 off of the line of scrimmage which really irritated me. However, some people have made some good comments that the secondary was so bad, it didn't give the rush enough time to make a play. While I do agree with this, I still saw the Pats rush get stoned at the line of scrimmage on a regular basis immediately after the snap. Hopefully, the additions to the secondary can allow the Pats rush to make a play. If they still can't get to the QB, expect them to make a splash for an edge rusher in 2010.
