Tanguay: Brady “embarrassed” by his compensation, is leaving

His niece was my student a 5-6 years ago. Reasonably smart. Lazy and completely insane though. Tanguay is on the C list of Boston media types. Guess it makes reasonable sense for him to attempt to move up, hedging his bets on Brady leaving. Eh. I'll go back to completely forgetting he exists.

Official Post Game Thread- Dolphins beat the Pats

So your solution is a bunch of guys who are some combination of extremely overrated, hurt, and old? Barf. No thanks. They need talent but let's not kid ourselves into thinking a team is going to trade OBJ for a 4th round pick or something, and it's not like we have a ton of assets.

top 5 regular season losses you remember

Sunday was bad. But as bad as the officiating was, it probably doesn't matter for post season seeding. 1. The 2015 Denver game. I'm convinced it gave Denver the Super Bowl and cost the Pats HFA. 2. Against the 9ers in 2012. The Pats were on a roll that year, and the 9ers were a strong team...

    Bring in WRs for Workouts

Crabtree and Dez, at their best, still had the same separation issues our current guys have. They need someone who can beat man coverage. Crabtree and Dez never did that and certainly aren't capable of doing it now.

    Brady, Brees, Manning

Brees v Manning isn't even close and never will be. Manning is at worst the third best quarterback ever. A guy with 1 SB, 1 all pro, and 0 MVP isn't close.

How does the 2019 team NOW compare to the 2007 team?

Woah. The 2007 OL is one of the best all around units of the free agency era. This is some serious disrespecting of that unit. The 2007 unit would win at LT LG and C by a lot. RT would be a push, and while RG would go to 2019, Stephen Neal was a great player in his own right. As far as WR --...

Let's check in with our friendly Steeler fans (Merged: Other Team Forums React (AB - Patriots))

The part that is 2nd best to any Patriots success is seeing how tortured it makes the Steelers. Imagine for 3-4 decades believing your franchise is the pinnacle of the NFL, just to continually be absolutely embarrassed by the same team time and time again for 20 years.

Postgame thread: Patriots defeat Panthers 10 - 3

I think coaches are just challenging it to have an idea of how this is going to proceed in the regular season - using the preseason as a preseason on the officials as well.

OT: Interesting Andrew Luck Injury Takes

Luck is probably the most overrated QB of my lifetime. All this is going to do is give the Colts time to make excuses for his otherwise very average QB play.

    Trent Williams interest?

This seems pretty straight forward to me. Trade for Williams, have him play LT, push Wynn to either super sub or RT with Cannon subbing at lt/rt. LT is really the only question mark on an otherwise really good looking team. If that can be less of a question mark for a 3rd or 3/4 (I doubt he's...

Everyone Seems VERY Happy With This Draft So Far

I'd have liked another WR. I think they had the opportunity to get guys like Brown, Isabella, or even Butler, and didn't. I like the picks they actually made. They all fill needs. But I can't help but think with as deep a WR draft it would have made sense to double up in the 2nd or 3rd round.

OT: ESPN profile on Harry Kane mentions how he was inspired by Brady

Well that and imperialism. But seriously I'd pay decent money to just have an app to blacklist soccer from anything I view. It's offensively terrible. Oh I doubt it.

    Poll: Tom Brady peak season

I've said the same thing for a while. He peaked in 2006 from a skill perspective. There was no fundamental difference in Brady between 2006 and 2007 except 2007 he had significantly better players around him. For the options his poll left me with, I picked 2012. 2012 was when I felt there was...

Is Belichick the Greatest Boston Sports Coach?

Bill is the best coach in any sport in any time. I'm convinced this man could coach anyone to succeed at anything. Free agency, multiple first round picks stolen, the development of the greatest player in sports history. Bill. All day and every day Bill. I can't even imagine how many...

No matter who wins, Saints fans will say it's tainted

I just don't care. One of the worst fanbases in sports with their only success being tied into bounties. Did the call suck? sure. You know what else sucked? Payton's coaching and Brees throws.
