Hey guys, Never been to a Pats game before. I figure stubhub or the nfl ticket exchange are my two best bets without getting ripped off. Should i buy tickets now or should I wait right before the game to buy them? Or any other suggestions to get the tickets as cheap as possible? Thanks!

You're forgetting the other part of Belichick's drafting, in terms of economics. Since Belichick has the best job security in the NFL, he doesn't need to draft big to keep his job. Other coaches don't have that security, so they are more willing to part with their future draft picks to 'win...
