I think as a whole this just validates how important a TRUE franchise QB is in this league. I also agree to a point that the air was quickly taken out of this team once Brady went down. It's takes a toll on a team mentally when you go from being on track to finish what they started last year...

He does seem like a very humble guy and very down to earth. You make some great points, and I'm sure he would love to be playing for a great defensive team with a great system in place like we have here. IF..............and that's a BIG IF the Raiders don't tag him or sign him to a long term...

Rivers is the main weapon of that team right now, but he can definitely be rattled mentally and physically if the pressure is put on him. If we can keep Rivers frustrated and protect Cassel we'll win this game.

Great to hear, I'm sure he'll heal up nicely for 2009. Next year is the last year to make a run at 4 SB trophies in one decade. Only the Steelers and 49ers can lay claim to that.....................right now ;)

I agree bro, I LOVE the throwbacks. I'm glad they might be wearing them again next season. There's just something about Pat the Patriot on the side of those classic white helmets :eat3: I think they should wear the throwbacks once every year during one of the home games.

Well, since we didn't pay Asante the big money and really never pay the big bucks to CBs, I have a hard time believing we would make a run at Asomugha in free agency, even though I think he is WELL worth the money. He doesn't get much press playing out in Oakland, but I'm telling you this guy...
