The play may or may not have been dirty but Welker didn't dive at Talib's knees. They hit shoulder to shoulder. If BB hadn't said it was dirty I would never have thought of it that way. A penalty certainly should have been called for OPI.

LT may have said done some head scratching things, but he is no imbecile. The man has a good heart (note his many philanthropic works) and has set himself up for life after football (most imbeciles don't).

No way, imo, do the Pats deserve any punishment from the NFL. They've handled this with class, imo. And that's tough for this Charger fan to admit.

There could be a number of reasons for this. One is AH requested it to cover the handcuffs. Who knows. It seems a bit trivial to wonder about considering the seriousness of the situation.
