    Hey Miguel,

IF (a colossal if I admit), BB still has a man crush on Peppers and Peppers has the same man love for BB and wants to play here. How could he make it happen (cap wise I mean)? I am not asking if you think it is likely or probable. I am asking you if BB said I am going to find a way to do this without weakening the current team by cutting core players to dump salary, how could he do it? By restructuring Brady and Moss? New deal for Wilfork? Could you find a way to free up the roughly $10 MM it would take to make the trade happen?

Hey I think I may have found where your figures were off by roughly 300K. You have Lenon listed as a cap charge of 800K with a base of 750K and 50K bonus. I know Reiss reported that figure but it makes no sense.

Why would the Pats pay him an extra 5 grand instead of the 745K with the same signing bonus and not take the cap relief with it that would equate to veteran adjusted cap hit of 510K with bonus? I mean they could throw in a 5K workout bonus which is not in there and I think they did and somehow that got lumped in with the 745K contract to make it 750K in Reiss' report.

Just something to look into as to why the Pats would give this guy 5 grand over a vet min contract and cost themselves almost 300K in cap space doing so.

I would love your opinion on some of my articles. I mentioned you in one of them.

When I go to your 2008 Salary Cap Page, I find 36 players signed beyond 2008.
Five practice squad players were signed recently to 2009 contracts bringing the
total to 41. Did any of the players signed from the practice squad during the
    season receive contracts beyond 2008?
