FYI for out of towners, it looks like most of the country outside the New England and Kansas City are will be seeing the Jets - Dolphins game on CBS. Interesting to note that the San Diego and Denver markets will be able to see the Pats, as well as Birmingham AL.

Here's the link to the map of the Week 1 AFC - CBS coverage:

As far as the late game on FOX goes, looks like it will be the Cowboys - Browns, rather than the Panthers - Chargers game in most markets.

For anybody living outside New England, if you find this info useful here's the link that you can bookmark to check prior to each week's game:

I'll be going to a bar or else I'll be forced to watch the Jaguars pound the Titans.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully they will be replayed on nfl network, cuz all I get down here is the stupid Titans, and Colts:mad:

San Diego and Denver are both division rivals of KC, so that's not that strange.

Can't explain the Alabama affiliate's thinking.

Thanks for the informative info.

Thanks... this will really come in handy!

Thanks for the info,,,,and thank god for Sunday ticket.....

So sopcast it is again this year.

I wish those guys covered Canada. What local Boston station is airing the game? Call letters anyone?

WCVB Boston (ABC) is 281 on Expressvu and WBZ Boston (CBS) is 282 on Expressvu

As far as I can tell every Canadian with Bell Satellite can watch every Pat's game. So I don't know if that info is a helpful addition to the original post, but there it is. Game #1 is on WBZ.

Awesome, they can have that Terrible Jim Nantz. I'll take Greg Gumble any day. I wish they'd pair him with simms tho, but Dierdorf is ok too.

I don't really care because of Sunday Ticket but . . . I guess it's the Favre Fest, I understand Penny against his old team, etc, but the Jets and Miami isn't exactly a big game between two good teams. If I were an independent viewer I'd want the Patriots-Chiefs or Jaguars-Titans.

They who? Are you watching on WBZ too? Better than Cross and Criqui?

Yea, I think I'm going to try Slingbox this year.

That's what I'll be using.

Question: did CBS fire their last remaining producer with a brain?

Most Americans will be treated to that major suckfest known as Miami v. Jets.

I just realized what the Favre trade has wrought. I'm going to be shut out of watching Patriots games everywhere but Slingbox.

Hopefully, a few losses to open the season by the Jets will put the Favre ballwashing to bed......I can't wait to see the Jets fans implode with Favre's first pick 4 game......

The NFL Ticket on DirecTV was the greatest thing ever created for out of towners. Now if there's a way to get the 'BCN feed over satellite radio there would be a perfect marriage.

You can on sirius.

Week 1 'BCN feed on channel 147.

You'll need a DVR to 'synch them up.
