When you realize how hard it is to remain competitive year in and year out in the NFL, you'll suddenly find what the Pats have done over the past 7 years very impressive. Now, going 7-0 in the Superbowl over those 7 years is obviously something you expected to happen. Guess you can't accept anything less. Go get 'em tiger!
The best corner option is the one currently on the roster. He's had a good track record, is mobile, and has a pro attitude. If that's drinking the kool aid, I'm ordering a bucket.
How are you wrong ever year? Did their moves work in 2005? Did they work in 2006? Did they work in 2007? No, they didnt. They have the ability to win every year if only the front office spent a little more money and got better players instead of stop gaps on defense. They could have won the superbowl the past three years if they put a little more thought into who they sign.
See? His standards aren't THAT high...he just expects a SuperBowl every year!
Not right now. And don't call me a front runner because I have been a fan for over ten years and still was a fan after their horrific superbowl loss. I was pissed when they traded Branch without having a legit replacement and it's happening again. In fact, their act is starting to get old. Whether it's hiding injuries to think they have some advantage when everyone and their mom knows that player is injured to Bill's dumb video taping costing the team a first round draft pick that could have been used to possibly get Mike Jenkins with a trade up. The video taping didn't bother me as much then as it does know looking at the current state of the DB's. That first round pick could have really helped the Pats. Letting Asante Samuel go without replacing him is icing on the cake.
