If money were no object...

Lito, Deltha, Ty... let's play pick two. Poll a-coming...

when did Lito come back into the picture or are you just throwing other CB's in the mix?

Why don't we just pull Deion and Darryl Green out of retirement? I bet they can still play.

I go with Ty Law because he knows our system and it's too late to teach new players about our playbook during regular season.

But it is an object, so are the draft picks you would have to give up to get Lito. If the Pats signed O'Neal and Law, I'd be good with that.

Law or Delta...... or both (but probably not).

I bet we just end up with Delta.

Ty Law has been wooed back at least 3 times in the last 3 yrs.. I think Belichick is getting tired of it.. Deltha O Neil is prob the best option..

Agreed, but I know some people are engulfed in trees, so I made it an option.

Deltha could very well have 2-3 good years in him if he is re-invigorated by a new team. I think it might happen that way. The Bengals can't seem to get anything right right now (please, let Palmer leave...) and I think some of their vet cuts just stopped trying.

Deltha and Ty baby. I chose them because well we already have Deltha and I got tons of love for Ty and I dont think Eagles are shopping Lito.

That piece of s*** Deltha O'Neil will be cut in three weeks. I can't believe people on this board still don't get it. Every experiment on defense since 2005 has been a failure. What makes you think it will work this time around? I can't believe people actually have hope about this signing. O'Neil is not going to do a damn thing. When will the Pats realize that signing other teams' trash isn't going to get it done.

Not right now. And don't call me a front runner because I have been a fan for over ten years and still was a fan after their horrific superbowl loss. I was pissed when they traded Branch without having a legit replacement and it's happening again. In fact, their act is starting to get old. Whether it's hiding injuries to think they have some advantage when everyone and their mom knows that player is injured to Bill's dumb video taping costing the team a first round draft pick that could have been used to possibly get Mike Jenkins with a trade up. The video taping didn't bother me as much then as it does know looking at the current state of the DB's. That first round pick could have really helped the Pats. Letting Asante Samuel go without replacing him is icing on the cake.

Not right now. Their personel moves are really starting to annoy me.

ok, well, i can understand that. every year i question what they're doing, and every year im wrong. so, i just dont question them anymore. now, if we're 0-5 to start, then yes, i'll be planning to overthrow the pats gov:D

Don't let the door hit you on the way out. Your standards are ridiculously high.

How are you wrong ever year? Did their moves work in 2005? Did they work in 2006? Did they work in 2007? No, they didnt. They have the ability to win every year if only the front office spent a little more money and got better players instead of stop gaps on defense. They could have won the superbowl the past three years if they put a little more thought into who they sign.

I dunno, the Moss Signing seemed to work out ok.

If your refering to me, I'm only talking about defense. The past three years the Pats have tried the cheap route and failed every time.

I'm not not going anywhere. How's the kool-aid taste?

Yawn... your act is tiresome.

Kool-aid, haha, you're clever.

If being a few plays away from the super bowl the last two years isn't good enough after winning 3 in 4 earlier in the decade, I don't think you are capable of being placated. That's all I'm saying.

I think your caustic and belittling tone make a lot of people (me included) ignore your posts, but I do think you have a point.

Losing Samuel was a big blow. LB's forcing bad passes is fine if there's someone out there to snatch them out of the air.

I'm ok with O'Neal (as I've said, closet Bengals fan), but we really do need someone young, fast and sure out there.

I hope the rookies show up, and it's very possible they will. Meanwhile it's uncomfortable being left to wonder.

I can't claim ANY expertise on Capology, but is it the need to have $$$ for emergency signs/trades that keeps away from the ledge wrt cap space? Why don't we toe right up to the brink like so many other teams?
