Re: Reiss Hochstein back

VERY good news. Though I'd also like to hear something good about Meriweather. His presence won't be missed as much against KC, but if he's not back for the Jets we're going to feel it.

We're doomed!:beersign:

Re: Reiss Hochstein back

I never thought that the day would come that I would be happy to see Hochstein in the line up. :singing:
This is GREAT NEWS!

Re: Reiss Hochstein back

But Gaffney is out??? So...one back another out...

Re: Reiss Hochstein back

I thought his name was Russ

Thank you to the Mod who unlocked this. I was feeling shunned:D

Re: Reiss: Hochstein back

WR is quickly becoming a depth issuie now.. Gaffney not practicing, and of course the usual ben watson injury.. Aiken is a unknown. But with Welker banged up a few weeks ago it is a cause for concern just a tad bit if the inj bug hits..

CJ Jones does not strike the fear into opposing defense's ...

Ray Ventrone is very interesting, hopeful he gets on the roster for day 1..

So long as Moss is healthy :D

yes I knocked on wood

Re: Reiss: Hochstein back

I'm not too worried about WR depth. Welker's injury was a rib injury, painful yes, but not the type of injury that lingers or causes extensive missed time. Washington should be ready to step in and contribute.

This is awesome news... Oh happy day:singing:

Why would you not miss him when we play KC?

As much as I dislike Favre, he scares me more than Brodie Croyle. Meriweather might help against Larry Johnson, but with Johnson's running style I think the front seven is going to have to stop him, not the FS.

Just an opinion. Obviously in a perfect world I'd like him for both.

Re: Reiss: Hochstein back

I'm glad to hear this; Hochstein is a much better option than Yates.

Re: Reiss: Hochstein back

Re: Meriweather - if his injury was serious, I highly doubt we let go of Spann and Lynch. We'd be down two safeties.

Don't take any moderating personal. As the season gets going this forum can get bogged down with too many threads. We will be moving more OT threads and closing or merging unnecessary threads. I assume most Pats fans are well aware of Reiss and many subscribe to his RSS feed.

I don't understand why this thread would be moderated. It is neither off-topic or unnecessary.
