Also plays fullback-sounds like a Patriots type player who can do more than one thing. I don't know how good he is, but it's worth a shot.

If someone suggests he's going to displace Heath Evans . . . .

A good addition...Maybe only for a few weeks...maybe an upgrade over Spach..It's a GOOD move!! From what I have read..it was a surprise cut by the non-mangenius...and this kid is a selfless player..one who does things so others can shine..just the type of player Coach B loves..

He's a versatile lineman and TE. He could be an upgrade over Spach and/or an OL to keep around.

Not to mention he's spent the last 4 weeks trying to re-learn a very tweeked offense crafted around the skill set of a recently acquired QB Mangenius and Co. are having to accommodate because they invested $12M in him a month before the season...

Skills are nice but knowledge is power...

Pociask sounds like the type of tight end everyone was clamoring for during the draft and through mini-camps, a damn good blocker. He was released from the Jets because of a logjam at the position despite having a very good camp. I don't understand the level of vitriol a signing like this gets when the player fills a need, has upside, and is only 25 - especially when Watson could be out for the opener.

Oh, yeah, I'm sorry, they released John Lynch and Chad Jackson: an old, likely-to-be-back free safety and a WR who wasn't getting it done. Yup, terrible move.

He's sounding like a very good move indeed. I love when BB picks up players like him-ones most mere mortals have never heard much about, players that fans of that particular team probably don't fret about losing then they hit NE and fly. Maybe he'll stick, we'll see :) Mangini's probably second-guessing himself as we speak:D

Isn't this point alone almost worth taking a flyer on this guy? Plus, BB would never take a flyer just based on tweaking EM - there's got to be something to this guy and he'll help us uncover our 2nd opponent, or make them change up their already limited offense. It's all good from where I sit.
