impossible

hasn't Vegas read Patsfans.com

The Chiefs should be favored

This team IMO is not ready to be such heavy favorites,I don't think they should be more than double digits to anyone with so many questions in some areas.

8 1/2 to maybe 9 1/2 point spread to me would be about right

Then put your money where your mouth is.

I'd take the points. I would have expected it to be just under 2 TDs.

Seems a bit high, but if Brady is playing I'll go with it.

If brady is NOT playing... should be 6 max. Favored by 3 with 3 more for playing at home.

I'm happy to post about the regular season. Judging by the number of views already, others are ready to move on as well.

Believe me if the line is 16 1/2 and I had a local bookie or I was in Las Vegas I would put $1,000 on KC to cover 16.5 points

This team is a very good team but is not 16.5 points better than any team in the NFL at this time unitl I see something to argue that

NE should not be favored by no more than 9.5 in this game - Period!

pats will win and cover

Vegas LOVES you, by the way. Not because you won't win, but because the whole point of the line is to make the bets as even as possible between the two teams. They don't actually think that NE is definitely going to win by 16+, but by putting it that high, they're going to get enough people to bet on KC to make them some money either way.

Trust me, they know what they're doing in that little neon town.

The line is 16 1/2 with no one knowing if Brady will play or if he will be limited. That means that the line would be over 20 if they knew.

But you KNOW - Vegas builds big buildings based on that theory

Viva Las Vegas........

Brady can't play corner or a part of the OL

Some of you almost seem to think Brady can do every position,He will do fine as usual if he returns but there are some uncertainties and unknown talent elsewhere besides QB to make me think that 16.5 is quite a bit high in week 1

I quess you can't read either

My point is that with even Matt Cassell maybe playing QB the Pats are favored by 16 1/2. What the h*ll does that have to do with CB

Because Brady playing does not mean the line should be 16.5 or over,He can't play everywhere - With Brady 9.5 is about right without him maybe 6 points at best

If worthless Caseel is QB, the line should drop lower of course since Cassel is not talented enough to get a team into the end zone in 20+ tries lately but Brady should not be the reason that a line that should be slightly under 10 go as high as 16.5 since he is not playing everywhere and can only do What he can as QB

Understand what I am saying? or can your parents help here?

Let me see if I can make this simpler

Vegas set the line at 16 1/2 points already. Do you or anyone else know if Brady is playing Sunday or even if he plays will he be at 100 percent. And even with those unknowns the line has been set.

That means that if it were known for sure that Brady was playing or that he is 100 percent - then what do you think the line would have been then set at ? Lower or higher that 16 1/2. OBVIOUSLY HIGHER

Good night

Give the man a cigar, boy does he ever get it. Right about now, gamblers across the land are saying "Brady has been out all preseason, the OL stinks, questions in the secondary, I'm gonna bet the house on the Chiefs and take the 16 1/2....................."

And after the Chiefs get waxed, the boys in Vegas are backing up the brinx truck to collect all the money.

Priceless.

Regardless of what the line is, my point is that the Patriots should not be favored by more that 10 points to ANY team with so much uncertainty right now and if Vegas is setting the line that high I think its crazy and KC is a good bet IMO

I am glad you said good night as its apparent that your curfew is over - sweet dreams

Do you really think this game will be anything other than a grind em out game with both teams running the ball a lot?

If you think this will be an all out air assault IMO you are going to be surprised - Expect all 5 RBs to play a BIG role in this game and use up a lot of clock with of course Brady throwing a few decent long ones every so often but I expect more run than pass and thus a bit lower score

Without a doubt Larry Johnson will be key to the Chiefs and a ground game plan I am sure as always is in the works on their side as well

If the Patriots score more than 24 points in this game I will be floored - actually very pleased if I am wrong but I don't think I will be in this case.
