Now, folks can start speculating about the practice squad ... any thoughts?

Gutierrez, Spann, Redd, Richardson, Stupar, 3 players we didn't have in camp, at least 2 of which are linemen.

EDIT: not sure on Stupar's eligibility, actually. Oh well.

From what I could actually see in UK of our games; Bryant looked shocking!! So I am not suprised. And what I saw, I am glad Ventrone has made it.

I'd think Seau comes back when there is a season-ending injury to one of the players we got.

The closer to the stretch run the better, really. He is nearly 40.

So many people here thought Fernando Bryant was going to have some miraculous turn around here...

Hope would be the more accurate word... same with Hobson

So Cassell IS the veteran pick to be the backup. Of course we'll have to see whether there's anyone with interest.

I'll say this for Cassell - perhaps in addition to QB he might provide depth at another position.

His one and only start in a football game since high school came at Tight End - where he actually had a reception. Seems we're a little thin there - maybe he can step in!

CJ made the team...I'm impressed, he had a heck of a camp, but someone is on the bubble when Faulk comes back...whom would that be? (I say Spach)

That is surprising. He had some struggles early on, but he made some decent plays too. Good for him.
