For all of those that are on the Guyton bandwagon, there is one thing in his favor that has not been mentioned.
Over the years, going back to the Giants days, BB has had good success with udrafted, late drafted, unheralded ILBs that are that way because they are strong in some ways (RUN DEFENSE) but not complete players. Gary Reasons, Steve DeOssie, Ted Johnson--after a drastic decline from his peak years-- Bryan Cox, literrally on his last legs, and others come to mind.
In our defense, the '2nd ILB' really only plays 40-50% of the snaps. A run stopping LB who lacks other skills of a complete LB has a role. For Guyton that role may be the practice squad this year, but I could absolutely see a possibility that he could develop into that 2nd ILB position.
