Yankees had bases loaded with one out in the 7th. Delcarmen out and masterson in. This kid takes the mound and stares A-Rod right down ... no fear. A-Rod grounds into a double play... inning over. I hope Frank from Glocester is watching.

Masterson has huge stones ... he is going to be great.

What did toothless say about him?

It also points out how average Delcarmen has been this season. Pitch control has been atrocious.

I had high hopes for him ... perhaps he needed more time in AAA. I wonder if he gets another year here ... I doubt it but then again there's not much out there.

The question is, do you feel we will put Masterson back as a starter after this season?

Great night for A-Rod: 2 K's, 2 GIDP (one with bases full), 0-5, key throwing error. I tell you the guy is clutch!

Manny was throwing gas tonight, what a difference a day makes.

Not so for Pay-Fraud, he still sucks in the clutch; oh wait, I'm sorry, he had one RBI in an 11-3 shellacking.

I stand corrected.

Some jerk-off called WEEI this morning and was mad at D&C
saying A-rod needs to be evaluated over his career not 1 night.
So they asked him A-Rods playoff OBP ... he hung up ...

One of the hosts on EEI yesterday summed up PAy-Fraud the best; whenever he whiffs, grounds into a DP or makes an error, he's got this look on his face like "Oh man, I just screwed up and 50,000 people are pissed at me".....................he's got that classic deer in the headlights look, he belongs with a team like Seattle or Texas (two of his former homes) where the fans could give a sh!t less.

He'll retire with the home run title (will pass Bonds for sure), multiple MVP awards and ZERO rings, one of the all time worst clutch players in baseball history.

I remember after the Yankees got him from Texas in 2004 after that disaster in the 2003 ALCS, I was ready to blow a head gasket.

Four years later, we've won not one, but TWO WS titles and the Yankees have gone down the toilet, their 13 year playoff run is about to end..........

I guarantee he's back. Yeah, he's takin a little step back this year but he's still a young pitcher. He has everything you need to be a power set-up man and I think he will be that guy.
