OT: I have a feeling that this is the Cowboys' year

When I read this thread, this was the first thing that came to my mind:

"We can't be the Patriots. The Patriots, they epitomize the whole team concept. Those guys are all about team and that's it. We're not them. We are a team that has a bunch of names, a bunch of personalities and a bunch of youth.'

--Dallas linebacker Bradie James, to NBCSports.com's Tom Curran'

Doesn't sound like a champion to me.

I see the Cowboys as the clear favorite in the NFC, but keep in mind they haven't won a playoff game since 1996. They've shriveled up under pressure in each of the last two playoffs.

Until Romo wins a playoff game, you can't convince me he is going all the way..

If they make the SB I think the lose it. In fact I believe the Pats would have easily have beaten the Cowboys or the Packers in the last SB.
You guys had the unfortunate pleasure instead of facing a Cinderella NY team with an astounding D line who feared nothing.

And there is the motivation of guys who probably already knew they were done after last year (at least with the giants).

I remember actually rooting for GB to beat the Giants so I could see Favre and Brady go head to head. Little did I know...

Re: OT: I have a feeling that this is The Cowboys year

Even with Wade Phillips, who in the NFC is poised to challenge them?

I think I read this post before. Like in January 2008.

They'll make the playoffs this year alright. Then lose the first game they play in as always. Then TO can sit on the couch while crying in his popcorn about once again letting his team down.

The problem with the Boys is too many individuals and not enough team. But, I certainly would not count them out in the NFC.However in the NFC there is always a team or two that suprises you.

Romo-dropped FG
To-drama
Tank-guns
Pacman-strippas
Too many personalities and not enough role players buying in. There are no role models to lead the rookies. Poor Zach will be babysitting all year.

I think you forgot botoxicated owner in your rundown:D

with Pacman Jones and Tank Johnson I guess the C-Boys are trying to become Da Raiders of Oakland southwest...............:bricks:

I just think all the chips are in place for them. Thoughts? opinions?

Their roster is stacked and they had a great draft, too much Bum Phillips not enough Pat Patriot.

There are two teams I could not stomach seeing win the SB. One is the Chargers. The other is the Cowboys.

Ahhhh, A bunch of jerk-offs they are...them Cowboys. Is that me sounding a little scared? I guess so. I'll admit it. Did they really let Adam "Pacman" Jones back into football? If so they should definitely let Brady back in should he ever rape an entire troop of girl scouts. Pacman is a scum-bag and because of what he did, a man will never walk again.

2 words, anger management, oh by the way,do play any linebacker:)

Do I play linebacker? No, I'm actually the most peaceful person you'd ever meet. I get up early every morning to do Qi Gong exercises that mellow me out for the day.

I just get upset that Pacman gets to play football while a strip club bouncer will sit in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. I'm sure I'm not the only person angry about him playing.

I was really big on Romo and I have cooled on him. I think he was a fad who has a predictable game with merely above average skill ... in other words he can be taken out of the game.

If there are people who are angry or consumed with the fact that Adam Jones is then those people are'nt paying attention to what the world is cooking up.

Defense isn't good enough, particularly in the secondary.
