I know this sounds like a "fairweather fan" question, but I'm wondering how many of y'all will actually watch this game. The final preseason game traditionally features none of the starters (or if they do play they're only in for a few series.) They usually have desperation in the air as well. The Cowpokes-Oilers game I was at back in '95 was like that - the "triplets" (i.e. Aikman, Irvin and Emmitt) never went on the field, and the play was so pathetic both teams were scoreless at halftime. (Final was 10-0 Dallas.)

Then again, a Pats game is a Pats game, no?

As for me, I won't be able to watch it live, but I may try to catch the replay on NFL Network at some point over the long weekend, depending on what's going on.

Nope. There is no need. The preseason means absolutely **** to me. I haven't even watched one preseason game yet. Get back to me in the regular season. :D

I'd rather spend my time starting threads about trading for the current opponents backup QB

I've got a solution for all the preseason injuries: change it to flag football.

Yes, I even record them now. I wish I had when Brady was fighting for the number 2 spot back in 01. I remember him kind of lighting it up that pre-season. Funny thing too. He was marching the Pats down the field with a very impressive drive and the announcers were babling about everything but the play on the field.........like they were just insignificant scrubs. Then when Brady threw a TD pass one of them finally acknowledged that it was a pretty impressive drive. You just never know what future star you're looking at.

Soooo your saying Matt Casell is no Tom Brady??

i will watch a pats-giants game in January. until then i do not have it in me to see those two uniforms on the same field.

Attend every home game and never miss a road game on tv, so yes.

Pre-season or regular season I have to watch the Pats play....I don't care if the games don't count in the standings during the preseason.....I'm still watching Patriots football.....trust me when I say this...its better than watching the Chefs any day...great googly moogly........

I will watch the preseason game right up to the end. By viewing

the entire game, there is a slight possibility that I might see Matt

Cassel lead the team down the field and score a touchdown.

How about we just have two preseason games. We don't need to spend an entire month playing football for pretend.

Of course I'll watch. Even if its preseason its nice to get an early look at the upcomers on the team in an enviroment where if they suck.... well its just an exhibition game.

Not only will I watch it, but I've looked forward to it all week. A pats game is a Pats game!!

Yes, but i didn't vote cause you didn't have an option that worked. It is the only preseason game I will watch. I live in NY. This one will be on tv the others weren't.

I voted "no" but it is probably a lie. I will not watch it LIVE. I will be at the UConn-Hofstra game, but I won't DVR it either. I'll probably catch parts on NFL-N or on Comcast Sportsnet.

No, but because it won't be on here in South Jersey. I will record it Saturday afternoon or whenever NFLN shows it and give it a look.

Yes ... i still want to watch the rookies and i especially want to see more of Gutz and O'Connell.

The Tampa game was not carried in Maine. I watched it on the

NFL Network on my computer thru justin.tv.
