is it just me or does it seem like all of Karen's articles are about Brady? I think she wants him.

that one is a little disheartning... Brady is a kraft guy and this event means a lot to the krafts.. I hope those crutches are a joke..

Brady may simply be ducking the questions that would be posed

if he was there.

Either that or she wants Scoop Tomase's job they've been advertising in the classified's...

I guess she found Tom eventually on video tape shown at the gala because he's on the West Coast attending to personal business (as if he's allowed to have any...)

We’ve found Tom Brady

FOXBORO - Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who wasn’t seen at practice today and wasn’t introduced at the team’s Kickoff Gala at Gillette Stadium tonight, is apparently on the West Coast.

In a taped video message, Brady said he could not be at the gala because he had to “attend to a personal matter.” After the video, emcee Rich Eisen said Brady was on the West Coast. It should be noted that Brady’s son, John, celebrated his first birthday last Friday.

Izzo wins Burton Community Service Award; Brady not at Gala

The Patriots are wrapping up their annual Kickoff Gala to benefit the organization's charitable foundation, and when emcee Rich Eisen introduced every member of the team, there was one noticeable omission: Tom Brady.

Eisen later told the crowd that Brady was tending to personal matters in California, which is where his son, who turned one earlier this week, as well as his parents live.

Brady did tape a message thanking fans for attending the Gala and encouraging them to bet generously for the live auction prize he offered -- passing lessons on the Gillette turf for the winner and nine friends.

This explains why Brady didnt practice today

Hope all is well for the Golden Boy.

Things like this make me nervous ... Brady moving on to the left coast to be closer to his son when his contract is up? Could be why Belichick drafted O'Connell as Belichick already knows brady may move on....

Honest to God, I think the Russians have put something in the drinking water around here...

Brady is signed through 2010, that's another 3 full seasons and he has stated that he wants to finish his career with the Patriots. BB's contract runs through 2013 and as long as BB is around TB will be around as well.

 ... his contract runs through 2010 ... right about the time little Brady will begin playing sports.

finish his career does not mean a new contract beyond 2010.
don't be so sure of that ... Brady came from a tight family and I am sure he wants to be great dad. To be a great dad may mean being closer.

are you talking about retirement?

Brady has also covered that before, he'd like to play a long time just like Vinny Testaverde.
