Ok, I'm generally a nice guy, but that was a really poorly written article with no useful information. Seriously, there must be better uses of time, pixels, and manpower.

Typical Bob George column formula: state the obvious, add conjecture and a dose of negativity and overwrite in non-compelling prose. :scared:

the part to read is paragraph 4:

Take a Valium, calm down and don't worry.

Must be a slow news day.

Judging by the fact that a pair of crutches were spotted next to Brady's locker earlier today I think we can all rest assured that Brady is not seriously injured. Just like the boot was a prank by some of the O-linemen, same here. Ok, everyone can relax now.

No news here.

Tom Brady follow-up
Posted by Mike Reiss, Globe Staff August 26, 2008 12:10 PM

Following up on quarterback Tom Brady, ESPN's Chris Mortensen reported last night that Brady's injury is a deep bone bruise on his right foot. Mortensen's report came on the "Monday Night Countdown" program.

When media members filed into the Patriots' locker room today, a pair of crutches was seen in Brady's locker, this coming one day after a walking boot was spotted there.

Don't jump to conclusions, however.

Members of the offensive line have been known to play practical jokes with Brady, while Brady himself is often quick with a prank.

Re: Brady followup

Re: Brady followup

there you go tommy. keep dishing out pain kid!

Re: Brady followup

Best thing tomorrow would be to neatly place a colostomy bag in his locker.

This stuff actually is a riot, the way they're playing the press like a fiddle.

Not really. Today is the day the players that will play on Thursday go through practice and since Brady will not play he is sitting this practice out. Tomorrow is a travel day.

Exactly. No sense in guys who aren't going t play on Thursday taking reps away from those who will. No big deal that he isn't there.

BPF and JSN, THANK YOU. Good Lord, I have become a chicken little overnight.
