For all of you who would like to write about the team, we have just added the Blogging tool to the forum software which will allow you to instantly create your own personal blog here at the site.

With thousands of registered users I'm sure there are many out there who have a talent for writing and we'd love to read what you have to say. Click on the "Blogs" link at the top of the forum, and then click on "Post to your Blog" to get started. It's just that simple. You can also customize the look and feel of your blog, and I will be reviewing each and every one of them, and will begin linking to the best and most frequently updated blogs on the front page of PatsFans.com as well as all the content pages to bring you the maximum number of users to read your work. It's also now part of your profile, as after you make your first post the tab will appear on your page for users to be able to read it.

In the meantime please send a PM if you have any questions, and happy blogging!

Ian

Re: Blogs now available for all members!

Even if I felt motivated, the sort of blog I'd create would subject me to the experience of virtual pelting with rotten vegetables. :D I think I'll pass ;)

Never be afraid to at least take a shot at it, you never know how people will react. Kevin Rousseau started out as just another guy who contributed some articles in the 12th Man area and now is featured in several newspapers in Maine and even does an occasional radio and TV appearance. He did it for fun and because he enjoys writing. You just never know :) - Ian

I'm not a writer by trade or inclination, and I have little to add in terms of opinion. Nope, my only claim to "fame" is that in my Usenet incarnation I was known mostly for really awful song parodies I called "Waxpoofs". I can hear the boos even now. There's one or two denizens here who remember that glorious age ...:D

Lots of new things around here! Rather than start a new thread in the main forum I'm just tacking on to this one :) I really like the new banner of the field at the top too. Thanks Ian!

Hi Ian ... I didn't know where to post this. After making a post the page would scroll down to your post. Now, the thread stays at the top and you have to manually scroll it down. Any reason for the change or is it my computer that changed?

thanks ... no blog for me ... no writing skills at all.
