Felger's Report card

ha! i didnt know that, that is so awesome. Imagine being able to call a play and the pats run it for you?

That had to do with the package put up for auction by BB during the Jimmy Fund Radiothon.. pretty cool idea, glad that Moss did not get hurt.

I had thought about that..makes sense..but Felger is basically a jerk..a pompous dirtbag scum....so why should anyone really care about reading his drivel??

That about sums up the play of Hobbs and Bryant.......bad !!!!!

If Wheatley isn't starting against KC, it won't be long before BB figures the team is alot better off developing a young talent like Wheatley instead of seeing play after play being given up by Bryant. Bryant's a first down waiting to happen.

Jeezus... I forgot about the radiothon thing... stupid idiot almost got Moss killed !

whoever was the fan who thought of that play in the preseason. i wouldve voted for a cassell sack :)

I would have asked to save my play and used it to put someone else on punt return other than welker.

Felger. Yawn. He's still employed, eh?

Next thread please...

You would have never seen that one coming. Talk about bad timing. They'll probably wait until the second half of the 4th game before they run a fan play again.

Felger was pretty much right on in his assessment of the Patriot's effort. The most accurate line in the report card was "Ellis Hobbs was Ellis Hobbs and gave up several first-down plays.", and I think that is what pisses me off the most about him. It also contributes to the many bad inteference calls made against him. Reputation means alot in the NFL. If you are a JAG, you just don't get the calls. More destrubing is that he doesn't get the calls against other JAGs.

The sad thing is that's all Ellis will ever be is a JAG. I'm willing to bet Wilhite could do just as good a job as Ellis "First Down - Toast", all while learning the position. Like usual, Ellis will be "game-planned FOR" by each and every offensive coordinator we see right thru the season.

Now, smart people would see that Felger is agreeing with their assessments and re-think their positions because he's such an idiot.

The fact that Felger is an A-hole doesn't mean he doesn't know what he is talking about, it just means he is an A-hole. While there are players who constantly come up big, Ellis consistently comes up small. There is a lot riding on his ability to play, and throughout his career he hasn't been able to prove that he can. On the plus side what a great nick name

And he makes excuses why he can't play. I would have a lotr more respect for him if he just took a beating and admitted he made another bone headed mistake, but he always finds an excuse to hide behind.

Yeah, Ellis Hobbs is so bad that one of the best coaches ever to coach in the NFL decided not to make an effort to bring back their #1 CB and elevate Hobbs to that position. Oh. Wait....

Why wait until BB figures it out by himself? You should tell him now, so we don't start the season 0-1 or 0-2 because of BB and Pioli's stupidity regarding player evaluations.

Let me ask you Vince Lombardi, what would you do based on what you've seen so far this preseason out of these two CBs ???

One time Felger said basically the same thing that I did. I took about a dozen showers and still felt dirty.
