ACTIONS FOR THE NEXT TEN DAYS
1) Cut to 75.
2) Decide when to sign Seau.
3) Continue to talk to Law.
4) Continue to evaluate veteran QB’s, unless decision is already made.
5) Cut to 53, or even 52 or 51 to make it easier to add players.
6) Evaluate all cuts from other teams, including “final” cuts, before establishing the 2008 team before Game Two (including the PUP list).
7) Oh, yeah, there is a final preseason game. Play the 22 players to be cut, 11 on defense, 11 on offense all game to prevent injuries to the 53.

flynn makes the team yates to ir

I'd have Guyton and Slater replace Hobson/Seau and Aiken, I think Seau waits in the wings until needed/deemed necessary and Slater's versatility on O/D/ST puts him ahead of Aiken who does little on offense and can't play D at all. Otherwise I think the rest is likely correct as best I can guess...but they surprise me all the time so I wouldn't be surprised to be wrong :D

Look at the list of final 10 cuts. There is some speed, youth and the future in that list. Hate to lose any of them.

If Seau is not quite healed, Chad Brown is still available.

It's not at all bad..actually close to what I think they will do..the real kicker is the OL..in that scenario 2 of the 4 injured linemen have to be active for opening day...and I don't know if that will be possible. That really is the wild card here and I think that is a big assumption. I'd keep Slater for Webster...and if Seau is not ready...maybe Guyton instead of Hobson. I do think 2 TEs and only 6 DLs may be the way they go this year.

i would still put chad in a sleeper hold.

You are 100% correct about the unspoken issue of possibly not having enough OL's to suit up on opening day.
