Later in the call, Belichick was asked if there was an update on the physical condition of Wes Welker, who left Friday's game with a rib injury. Belichick said he did not have an update.
BB is usually quick to put people on IR if he thinks its serious enough, he doesnt wait.i think (fingers crossed) he should be okay. i saw the replay today on NFLN -frankly it didnt seem like that it as that bad.maybe broken ribs but didnt look that way when he walked to the sideline.
He also could be seen saying "wind" to the trainer... he either bruised or cracked a (or some) ribs. Probably have to wear a flak-jacket vest and will be sore, but I'd bet he'll be ready to for KC. Just hope he doesn't take another shot like that for awhile...
