Just saw it on BSPN. He said to miss the third pre-season game pretty much indicated that his foot injury must be significant because of how much that game means to a teams season preparation.

unless he has a source, it doesn't change my opinion

How many snaps did Randy Moss take in last year's preseason game 3?

I didn't recall Tomlinson in game 3 last year for SD either.

Schlereth is a moron, and oh,by the way Mark,Peyton is not going to be there in week 3 either and Jim Sorgi and Quinn Gray are not exactly guys you can relax with at the helm either.

None, so obviously its a non issue

He made a general statement after Pats-Eagles highlights and said, to miss the 3rd preseason game this must be a serious injury not that he knew it was. He was making an assumption. As someone else pointed out on this board in another thread, I forget where I saw it, this is not a typical preseason for the Pats. Last year was long and stressful on many levels and some of these guys had very short offseasons where injuries and their bodies in general weren't allowed enough time to heal. I think this is all pre-planned by BB and everything will be ok when the season starts.

Great point, I mean this game is so important as we all saw Randy had an awwful year in 2007.

Ha ha, there is no logic to that whatsoever. Moving on . . .

does this imp ever think that maybe brady is not in because the 2 of the starters on our oline our out? why risk injury to brady behind wesley britt?

We all know why he's saying it. Whenever they mention anything about the Patriots or the League MVP Tom Brady, they get better ratings. Be it news or speculation it gets viewers.

Bull Sh-t PN? or was that a typo?

It is so significant that Brady took part in practice on Wednesday and Thursday. Do you think the Pats would risk resting Brady if he had a major injury?

Anyone hear the "Real Men of Genius" for "Retired Athlete Sports Commentator Guy"? Schlereth in a nutshell.

And if Brady had played and gotten injured the mantra on BSPN ( I like that) would have been to criticize for playing him in a meaningless game behind a back up O-line....
The proverbial no win situation.....

........Mr. I can't analyze good so I go with the Patriots haters

The GREATEST thing about that S-gate thing was I have NOT watched these bozos or this station at ALL for any football related talk. I have gained IQ points, and am quite sure I am a better person for it.

what the "experts" fail to realize is players like Brady and Manning are so in tune with their offense, they do not need to play in pre season games. The idiots do not know what they are talking about.

In other news, PromisedLand just said on patsfans.com that Mark Schlereth is an idiot.

Haha Mark Schlereth haha
